Really nice spot with a friendly ambience. I came to play a show with Breaking Sound LA and it handily exceeded my expectations. Sound was great and the vibe was good too. Parking was also not impossible and there's a dunkins across the street which is all I could ask for as a man from Massachusetts. Highly recommend
? No tea! I planned to visit this bar for my friends birthday for tea cocktails. Apparently they haven't had any tea cocktails in a while and have totally stopped serving them. Super disappointed and the birthday surprise was ruined.
I'm always puzzled how they have some of the most over-priced drinks at this bar and still can't figure out why the bartenders look bored beyond belief - since they barely ever get customers. They may sell 2 drinks an hour but continue to sell $18 drinks ($18!!?!??!?!?!) and they force the tip on you. You don't get to pick. You have to pay the optional tipping fee. It's an 18% tip. Honestly, take that off the menu and I will likely tip higher. It's just that when it's forced on me, I don't wanna tip anything. The bartenders are all sweet. Save your money and go across the street to the Golden Gopher. If they lower the prices, you'd see everyone coming from their rooms and having a drink in this cozy lobby area. I've been to expensive restaurants and clubs with cheaper drinks. $18 a drink and then a forced tip!? Yeah, no.

I checked out this bar on a whim and had the most AMAZING experience! Hands down the best bar experience I’ve had in DTLA. I had the fantastic bartender. I wasn’t able to get her name but she was incredibly knowledgeable and made the the most delicious cocktail that I’ve ever had in my life. I will certainly be coming back!

alright people…. this is my first Google review in YEARS but this spot and the guys behind the bar made the experience A++, so I am coming out of hibernation to document greatness. My fiancé and I were in the area and had about 45 minutes to kill before we needed to head out. We wanted to grab a drink somewhere, and my quick Google search of “open cocktail bars” yielded this place. The summary phrase highlighted their “tea infused cocktails” so I made a beeline from the Flower District over to the bar.The bar is inside the Freehand Hotel, located to the right of the check in desk. There’s an alternate entrance to the hotel, through the “Paper 8” shop. You can also enter through the Freehand Hotel entrance / the entry for Broken Shaker LA.Anyhoo! I was very excited for a craft tea infused cocktail, as I rarely see them on menus of the bars I frequent. I was told they are a seasonal item, but the bartender Alex (!!) was eager to please and also clearly a guy with passion x talent. He asked me a bit about what I liked, and whipped up the most bespoke cocktail any human has every made me in my 32 years of living on planet earth ? ???.For the record, the drink was aptly named “Blood, Sweat and TEArs” . Ask for it by name… it includes: Lemon oils, Bergamot bitters, Rosemary, Earl Grey tea, egg white, simple syrup, lemon juice, Ford’s Gin, finished with a lemon peel and a purple edible flower ?.Beyond the quality of the drink, it was honestly just a pleasure to share time and space with someone who was so eager to share their passion with the world.
So this place has been so close to my house so why haven't I come here before ? Lol I love the dj he put the perfect music to have a good time , it's small and cozy and drinks are at reasonable price , friendly staff , this is your local bar lounge :)
I'm with my friends at this bar. We had a great time! The menu is perfect, something for everyone. The service was awesome and the bartender was very accommodating and friendly. Will be back definitely!
I went to anejo to celebrate with a few co-workers during happy hour and had a good time. We sat in the patio, which was comfortable and spacious. The menu was limited, but good .
Came here for a dinner date, Angela waited on us and I must say it was fantastic. I got halibut as she recommended and tuna tartare.. both were amazing ughh the ambiance were great, the fire place and candles, library and couches were such an awesome cozy touch. I absolutely loved it.

Our spot for New Years to go food. We ordered beans, carne asada fajitas, Rice and chips . So delicious and perfect for the occasion
Very good drinks for such an a such a little spot! Bar stuff is very friendly and it is not very loud. Nice place for conversation.
Came here for happy hour on a weeknight. It was really busy, but luckily our friends snagged a table and the 7 of us squeezed in. The drinks were good, but what I really enjoyed was the atmosphere and decor. The bar tenders were also very friendly, even when just asking for a glass of water. Definitely recommend for others to check it out.
Nice place but there is no pool table at Rudolph’s Bar & Tea, even though it comes up in Google search. Service was great!
Good place for a night out with your girlfriends or even with a date. Music isn't too loud which is good for conversation. Bar tenders were nice as well. Tried the Basil Gimlet with gin and I'm hooked. Will definitely go back for it again. Prices on a high side.
