Tried Layered Matcha is epic! It’s creamy and the matcha’s bitterness blends super well.

loved this place! if i wasn’t from palm desert id be here all the time. it was slightly cheaper than most matcha places i’ve been to, but the quality was the best i’ve ever had. the people were so friendly and the atmosphere is great. would 110% recommend!

A coffee shop like this is exactly what the neighborhood needed. Beautifully designed and thoughtfully curated, with excellent service and truly delicious coffee. You can tell there is so much intention behind the space! It’s officially my new go-to spot.

Just really good coffee. I haven’t got any of the fancy machas or the signature drink, but the cappuccino is solid.

Honestly deducting a star because a double matcha with oat milk was 10.25$ (PRE TIP), meanwhile you can go to Ktown - a lot closer for me personally and not even that far - and get a double matcha for around 7-8$.
Really amazing vibes inside though like trust when i say the cute corridor it’s in doesn’t feel like dtla at all. Clean, safe, and peaceful.
I want to try other things so will be back but Im prepared to pay hella for it.

The drinks: Layered Matcha (most popular), Layered Earl Grey (most slept on), and Pour Over (most soothing) were neatly crafted and exceptionally delicious on every sip. Fun to look at but with serious flavors.
The space: designed with a meticulous eye and care for materiality and color and lighting. Furniture pieces are hand picked and hand made from what I can tell. The music is on point too so all your senses of hearing, touch, sight, smell, and taste are being activated into a harmonious symphony.
The people: owned by a mum and pop who strive to provide warm and loving service to all walks of the community. Felt welcomed entering and leaving this intentional third space.
Beautiful drinks and service designed by beautiful people, highly recommend!!!

Randomly stumbled upon saero after lunch with friends, and the drinks were fantastic. I haven’t tried the matcha, which seems to be popular - but I can say that the espresso is solid. Got a cortado and the signature latte. The cortado had notes of chocolate and peanut which I am a huge fan of. The signature latte was very well balanced and not overly sweet. Would love to swing by if I’m in the area again

This place is AMAZING! Do yourself a favor and go out of your way to try their Saero Signature if you're a fan of coffee and their strawberry matcha if you're a fan of matcha. Their staff is always so welcoming and they're definitely a great addition to the spring arcade.

The layered matcha and the einspanner are both pretty good. Probably the best matcha drinks I've ever had.
Get the Säero Signature! It’s phenomenal and they make their own cream!!!
