I recently visited Safir Mediterranean Cuisine after their remodel, and honestly the place looks fantastic now — very modern, clean, stylish, and welcoming without losing its warm atmosphere.
The food was delicious every time I went. Everything tasted fresh, well-seasoned, and made with care. You can tell they really put effort into both the quality and presentation. The staff was friendly, attentive, and respectful, which made the experience even better.
A special thank you to Matt, the owner, who was a true gentleman. He took the time to greet customers and made everyone feel comfortable and appreciated. That kind of hospitality is becoming rare these days.
I noticed a few unfair negative reviews online, but after visiting several times and seeing how busy the restaurant was with happy customers, I honestly believe Safir deserves much more support and fair recognition. Sometimes one bad experience gets exaggerated online, but consistent service and quality speak louder.
If you enjoy great Mediterranean/Persian food, a beautiful atmosphere, and friendly service, I definitely recommend giving Safir a try. Wishing them continued success after the remodel!

We used the restaurant yesterday for a memorial. We had over 50 guest, so impressed with the quality of food, the service and the prices! The manager went above & beyond to make sure we were happy and all the guests were served well. They provided audio system with a microphone, so we could share memories of our loved one.. I highly recommend the restaurant for casual dining or for an event.

This experience was very awful. They charge a lot and despite making many promises regarding luxury performances and services, they never do them and just charge for nothing. The management, Mr. Barani, is even worse and is never kind to customers to help them enjoy their experience. I would never go to this restaurant again and wouldn't recommend you to go there especially on Thursday nights. It's so awful.

Honestly one of the worst experiences I’ve had. We called ahead before going and asked everything clearly. They told us the event starts at 8:30 PM until midnight, with multiple well-known singers performing, a luxury vibe, full program, food, dessert — basically sold it like a high-end, packed night. We got there around 9:10 PM… and nothing. Literally nothing. No music, no atmosphere, no performance. Just people sitting around. We waited… and waited… Around 10-something, they bring out a kid — maybe 10-15 years old — and he starts singing for a while. No disrespect to the kid, but that’s NOT what we paid for. That’s not what we were promised on the phone. Then suddenly one of the “main” people comes up saying they had a TV program and has to leave… like what?? That’s your big event? Finally around 11:30 PM, ONE or two singers show up, sing for maybe 10 minutes, and leave. That’s it. That’s the “luxury night” we were told about. So let me get this straight — you charge people entrance fees, promise multiple performers and a full night of entertainment, and then deliver basically nothing? This is straight-up misleading. Don’t lie to people over the phone just to get them in. Also, the attitude from the management was incredibly rude and arrogant, like customers don’t matter at all. Overall: waste of time, waste of money, and honestly embarrassing for a place that claims to be “luxury.” I would NOT recommend this place to anyone.
We love this place! We have been ordering Safir’s for About 12 years now and absolutely love it. Not only is the food amazing, but the owner or manager (or the person who answers the phone) is the sweetest. He remembers our order and is always so kind. I highly recommend! We love the chicken barg, the boneless chicken kebabs, and the Shirazi salad. Sooooo good.
