Must go here right now! Great place to eat over catching up with friends. The food fare is delicious. The skewers are meaty and you’re not getting filled up with carbs. The atmosphere is great and just overall a highly recommended experience. The chef ?? was highly skilled and knew exactly what he was doing. Would go here again and again and again and ag…… ♾️

Incredible local secret… yoshi’s owari chicken wings are a delicacy. Everything is so delicious.
The food was INCREDIBLE! What a hidden gem! This place would be extremely popular if it was on Sawtelle. If you’re wanting healthy Asian food with a lot of protein, this is the place for you. They handmade a miso sauce to go with the meat and oh my gosh it is so mouthwatering, fresh, and delicious. You will leave feeling extremely satisfied and not hungry. It’s about the same price as sushi but you’re getting way more protein and way more for your money, not just filling up on rice. This food is perfect for people that weight lift but still want to go out to eat because this place is super yummy, packed with protein, and guilt free. Highly recommend!!
This is a hidden gem in LA. Fantastic consistency and service. out of all my favorite spots in LA this one deserves a Michelin star for how unique and wonderful the food is.It will transport you back to rural Japan.Kid-friendliness: Great for familiesWheelchair accessibility: Handicap parking by the entrance. No stairs
Sakura House is the best! An unassuming little neighborhood Izakaya that transports you back to Tokyo. Incredible food (Yoshi's Owari Wings and Gingko Nuts are a must) and equally stellar service, this place is a truly hidden gem.
Yoshi's Owari Chicken and the Mocha Custard are divine.

Super dry Ribeye Steak, all chicken dishes, breast, wings and negima were stripped dry of skin (the skin was removed for the tastier dishes that sold out on Wednesday and Thursday) so you could imagine, DRY as a bone!. We left 3 dishes, untouched, but they charged us $164.00, without any hesitation.

All the food on the menu is excellent. Flavorful and well prepared. Serving could be slow but that is the point of enjoying yakidori grilled in front of you. This place is one of our go-to Friday night dinner places, relaxing with beers and great foods.
Been going here for just under 20 years and it's our favorite Japanese restaurant. Every time we're in the neighborhood we have to stop. Super friendly and delicious.

This is my favorite Japanese restaurant in Los Angeles. Yoshi the owner, goes out of his way toplease each guest. Plus, the food is always exceptional.

This Yakitori spot is delicious. Some of my favorites are the spicy chicken meatballs (it seems to be most people’s favorite here), the mochi (rice cake) maki. The quail egg maki was a first for me and I was not disappointed. The staff was extremely attentive and helpful.

Came on a Friday night, with no reservation. We had to wait a while to get seated. No wait list or anything to write our name down, so you just have to wait to get the attention from the server to let them know. The restaurant is pretty small, around 6 tables and 10 bar seating. At that time there were only 2 servers and one kushiyaki chef, so we understand that it will take a while. Overall everything that we ordered was very tasty, Agedashi tofu, Mushrooms with mashed potatoes, Kurobuta sausage, and black pepper wings were our favorites. But unfortunately a lot of kushiyaki items are not available, all beef items, all innards(heart, liver, gizzards) and other stuff. Will definitely come back to try their kushiyaki when it’s available next time.

Best west side yakitori in LA. Chicken wings are sleeper but definitely get to start and dessert once you know what’s up.
