Tucked at the back of the Farmers Market at The Grove, Savta is a great little pizza find hiding in plain sight. The pizza itself is excellent, with a great selection, delicious crust, and that perfect balance of crispy and chewy. The wagyu smash burger with fries is also a standout—cooked to perfection, with sweet caramelized onions and a tang from the honey mustard pickles. The food came out quickly and was fantastic.
Service was excellent and very attentive, with staff making sure drinks were to liking and even bringing a pillow for a little one to sit more comfortably. The vibe is casual, and the patio is beautiful, set apart from the grove craziness. The bread and tapenade was a favorite dish, though the Roman Jewish artichokes were less popular. Some guests wished dishes were timed better instead of arriving all at once. The location is okay, and parking can be costly, so it's best to find it from inside the Farmers Market. Overall, it's a nice alternative to more obvious Grove food options, and guests will definitely be back.
