This place has amazing staff and will give you great flavours for a great price, very affordable. Indoor seating is great as well.

Wanna get some yummy ice cream after you’ve had a burger at Amboy? There’s a variety of unique flavors at Scoops, in which I got a red velvet & oreo + vanilla & m&m shake. Probably would recommend having ice cream rather than milkshake because I think you can savor it better. The flavor was sweet and creamy, but in hindsight, I would have chosen just one flavor for the shake.

Of all the delicious homegrown LA ice cream shops (thinking of Afters, Wanderlust, Magpies) and transplants (Jeni’s, McConnell’s, Salt & Straw), Scoops stands out for both its creativity, excellence, and humble local vibes. A recent poll with my wife and kids of our favorite ice cream we’ve ever had, Scoops’ brown bread was first or tied for first for all four of us. If you’ve never had it, it is the one flavor that never changes at Scoops, and it is sheer perfection.The team here is so kind. The samples are generous. The flavors change constantly and explore a wonderful range of flavors. If they are offering their Guinness or sea salt chocolate or pistachio (in any combination), do yourself a favor and get it.

We love Scoops and have gone many times. Great and creative new flavors daily. We first learned about them many years ago after visiting their location in Culver City. This has been such a great addition to the York HLP neighborhood over the past several years. Brent and the owner are always our favorite staff. Super humble, low key, honest establishment that always makes the most creative ice cream flavors.
