The place serves the most authentic korean food with homecook style. It was very empty and I was so suprise, its not fancy and fun like other places. The place is run and cooked by an old korean lady, she made everything from scratch including the banchan, which to me is delicious and original. we had the braised beef ribs, grilled fish, and tofu soup. All were so good. The owner was kind and warm, she did not speak english. So sad to see this place empty. My family enjoyed very much, we took a picture with the owner. She was so sweet and proud of her cooking

One of the best Korean cuisine and traditional restaurants in Koreatown.
Highly recommend for Galbijjim(beef stew) and Gimchijjim.
The food was authentic and it was cozy dining inside.

I used to come here often when I lived nearby and hadn’t been back in quite some time, but I’m glad to say the food still tastes just as good as I remembered. The food is consistent and they’re very generous with the banchan, which is always appreciated. I particularly enjoy the galbi jim, which is rich, comforting, and one of the reasons I keep coming back. The people here are friendly and welcoming, which makes the experience even better. Parking can be a bit difficult, especially during peak hours, so that’s something to plan for. It’s not the cheapest option, but for the quality of the food and overall experience, I think it’s worth it and I’m always happy to visit whenever I’m in the area.

The restaurant is very clean, and all the dishes are neatly prepared and delicious. Their specialty is the braised short ribs, which they’re especially known for. I went on a weekday for their brunch, and parking was easy with plenty of open spots. The restaurant also wasn’t crowded, which made the experience even better.
There’s another restaurant in the same mall called Dan Sung Sa, and I know it gets extremely busy on weekends. Because of that, visiting during peak times can be a bit stressful and inconvenient. But for this place, a weekday visit was perfect—good food, clean space, and no parking hassle.

The braised mackerel, grilled croaker, and braised short ribs were all delicious. Our group chose the braised mackerel as the best. We'll definitely go back again. The staff were friendly, and the warm barley tea was delicious.

No frills delicious Korean food. We got the tofu soup SO TASTY 😋 sooo flavorful, the kimchi stew - the kimchi was SO tender. Can’t wait to come back it hit the spot and felt like eating at your aunties.

Literally mom's cooking! Been around for many years.
Low key, clean and personal service. Food is great quality and no aftertaste of overly flavored foods. Locals know!
