The bingsu was pretty good here but it wasn’t as creamy as other places I’ve tried. We got the matcha, strawberry, and black sesame flavors and the black sesame was definitely the best. The matcha one tasted like they used lower quality matcha and had a flower-like flavor. It was also pretty busy and people had to wait to get a table.
I have been wanting to try this place for a while and have to say I wasn't impressed. It wasn't bad it's just that I had different expectations. If you ever had a chance to try Monster Ice in Taiwan you know what I mean :) I was very happy though they had my favorite flavor, black sesame. Really interesting Korean shaved ice. The ice is shaved so finely with milk that it nearly tastes like ice cream unlike a similar Taiwanese shaved ice. Tried the Injeolmi (인절미) flavor which is a Korean rice cake flavor made from glutinous rice flour and finely ground roasted soybean flour. Yum.Service was a little slow, but they also were packed with a line. The atmosphere was pretty lively.
