What a great little spot, nothing fancy but great soup. I got the spicy brisket which had a nice kick to it, the kimchi sides were also very good. I will be back in this area in a couple of weeks, I will swing in again for sure.

Please be aware that this restaurant's waitresses are super friendly hospitality and make you a happy meal time. The food price (Sulung tang) is $2-3 cheaper than competitors.

Discovered this gem on Doordash and ordered as takeout. I'm so glad I found this place and surprised it isn't more well known! I really enjoyed the ox bone sullungtang as it was milky and rich with umami flavor. I didn't even need to add salt! I also really enjoyed the radish in soy sauce and thought it paired really well with the brisket. I wasn't a fan of their kimchi, however, but the radish kimchi was decent. I think the broth is the star part of the meal and hope to dine in at this restaurant one day!

Ripoff. They charge extra for side dishes. If you’re not familiar with Korean food, they’ll take advantage of you.

Truly a local gem. Its one of those places that where you feel like you are home and you get a warm and fuzzy hug from your loving grandma and being served an amazing, silky, smooth substantial, flavorful broth. The banchan is also part of the experience, where your palate is primed for that comfortable wonderful feeling from the soup.

I order this all the time through delivery when I have a hangover with my girlfriend. This is honestly such a great twist to seolongtang since its really spicy but might be too spicy for most. Service is honestly real nice overall and i recommend getting the glass noodles instead of the the rice noodles :)

I am a regular here. As a Korean American, this is one of my favorite spots for spicy Korean soup. They have the BEST seolleongtang I've ever had!! If one day it's not as good, please give them another try. In maybe the 10 times I've gone, 9 times were amazing. The one other time, for some reason there was less food and everything tasted less flavorful. I'm not sure if they were low on ingredients that day or if they had a new cook or something. That day was maybe 3.5/5. The soup is mouthwatering, the brisket is excellent, and the banchan (sides) are amazing as well, especially the kkakdugi! I usually prefer regular cabbage kimchi over kkakdugi, but here... I don't know what they do man, but it is something else. I wish I could buy their kkakdugi in bulk. The servers are pleasant and attentive, even to some rude people who walked out for no reason. I come at odd times (e.g. 3pm) so it's never crowded. I'm not sure how it usually is, but the few people who frequent this area are a bit noisy (which I personally don't mind but some people do). Also, this is a big one: free parking lot! What a rare precious sight to behold in downtown LA / ktown!

I love this restaurant but last few times of delivery order are little unsatisfying. I feel like meat quality is are going down. First time was really good and beyond but now meat are going smaller and more just bones and it's not soft as used be. I hope they fix it as first time order. Bcs I really love the flavor .

Ordered a to-go order. Their spicy galbi tang (S6) had 1 piece of meat. For $21.95. Outrageous. You should be ashamed charging that much and giving one piece of meat in the soup. Thievery.

Location: small store in the same plaza as s Yeems Coffee and Yukdaejang. Fair warning there's limited parking if the lot is full and the spots are narrow. Food: got the dolsot bibimbap. I would highly recommend you get the seollungtang instead, not that the bibimbap was bad, but you're going to a seollungtang spot and they do it better than their bibimbap. Bibimbap also does not contain any meat. I overheard the staff recommending the dogani soup which is the ox knee.

Very nice sullongtang, banchan is satisfying. Service is friendly - very much a nice small business authentic Korean restaurant. I like that they have spicy variation on the sullongtang, and for those that like tripe and intestine, they have that as an option as well. Parking can get a little dicey - compact spots and shares a lot with Yukdaejang and Neems coffee so its packed!

Wow the hangover soup is exactly what the doctor ordered and well packaged (ordered on Uber Eats). Sour, spicy, warm and comforting! The second time I ordered this it was a bit toooooo spicy so I just added some warm water. Enough for two servings at least!
