Really want to like this pizza because the dough is good, but unfortunately the slice is just a slice of baked bread. No cheese. No sauce.

Good tasting pizza and interesting flavors! However, so overpriced for how small my slice was. I had a couple bites and it was gone! Didn't feel like I got my money's worth, despite other reviews saying how affordable the slices are. I went with a friend and ordered the same pizza flavor they did and their slice was 2x bigger. Feels really inconsistent and I don't know what happened. :(

The food is innovative and very tasty. The veggie pizza is the best I've ever had and the Ranch dip for the crust is amazing. And the miso marinated chicken nuggets are incredibly good. And the celery side salad dressed with blue cheese. And the sautéed eggplant side. Everything really... The prices are very reasonable, considering the quality of the food. And it's ready pretty quickly, which is nice. Another big plus is the beautiful original art on the walls by a number of highly talented younger artists. Yes! Make original art a part of your daily life and support the artists who make it. Also, the counter people are always friendly and welcoming and they often bring your order out to you. I doubt that's in their job description, but it's a nice touch. It's basically a takeout operation - a small space with no tables inside - but there are benches and milk crates on the sidewalk for an al fresco meal and a small stand-up counter you can eat at. And Kumquat, a few doors down, is an EXCELLENt coffee bar, and there's on OG liquor store that has a great selection of beers and if you want to go that route. Of course, you can always get your food packaged to go, but it's all so tasty I always eat it there as soon as I get it.

Pretty good pizza! It was not overly seasoned or greasy. The flavor and texture were 5/5! Service was quick. I also tried their mango Italian ice and it was Delicious!!! Must try! There is street parking available.

Amazing pizza! It has a super thin crunchy crust that is also chewy. The pizza sauce is tangy and different. The mushroom sausage was really delicious. I love that they added fennel. I wish the white pizza would have an option for a honey drizzle but it was also super yummy. Location is great since it's not super busy and no traffic.

Probably the closest to a true New York cheese slice (reminiscent of my gold standard Joe's on West 4th). Will come back and try the other toppings. I wish they had a proper spread of oregano, black pepper, garlic powder, etc for the slices but I don't think LA is ready for that kind of true working class eating experience lol

a solid take on a new york slice! dough wasn’t incredibly tasty, but had a pretty good texture. toppings were really great. could tell they use good ingredients. would stop by again if nearby for a fresh slice.
