Food food, food, food food, especially if you’re looking for authentic Chinese food in the Beverly Hills/LA Santa Monica area! Service is slow like most Chinese restaurants and the atmosphere is janky just like most Chinese restaurants but between this place and Hop Wo up the street you’re golden.

Went with a group of friends. Was alright, not bad but wasnt blown away. Was a bit disappointed in the mapo tofu - spicy sure but overall kind of bland. The other dishes were also a bit uninteresting but not bad. The desserts were good. Will try again and order specifically for me.

It was a Saturday evening, perhaps before 6pm, so the place wasn't crowded. However, it became increasingly crowded as the night progressed, which was quite surprising. It was my first time there, so I ordered four typical Sichuan dishes. The overall taste was acceptable, but not exceptional for a Chinese palate. Perhaps this is the standard of Chinese food in LA.
