Its been a long time establishment in the community catering to its devoted clientele, especially to its hispanic and LGBTQ community. As recently as last Friday night, the Silver Platter has prevailed in its effort to provide an outlet of entertainment and appreciation for the community that it supports.

It is a cool place to stop by and have a quick beer. The 4 star is because they have a limited selection of beers and no draft beers ... I don't blame them for the parking situation because it's very close to DTLA and parking is scarce...

Silver Platter is a hole in the wall bar with a Central American Latino flair, welcoming a diverse crowd of millennials and up. The place offers table service or a visit to the bar, where you can enjoy beers and maybe a LA street dog from the vendors outside. Despite some harsh reviews, the live band and packed dance floor create a lively atmosphere. The bartender is friendly, and the prices are reasonable. While it can get hectic after midnight, the welcoming service and community vibe make it a great spot to enjoy a night out, even if you're on your own.
