Another great experience at Soom Soom Sunset! I had a Chicken Shawarma wrap. It was so big I had half for lunch and half for dinner. Everything I've tried so far has been great! I'm telling, don't sleep on this hidden gem!

Soom Soom Fresh Mediterranean Restaurant is absolutely amazing! I always go there with my family because the food is very delicious and truly authentic Middle Eastern cuisine made with great quality ingredients. Everything tastes fresh and flavorful, and you can really tell they care about what they serve.
The customer service is outstanding — Merlin and Luis are both incredible, very friendly, welcoming, and attentive. They always make the experience even better.
Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for authentic Mediterranean food and great service. I’ll definitely keep coming back!

Busy tiny place, parking is crazy but the food is SO good. We had a getaway driver and took our food to go.

This place is sooo good.
Quality healthy food and the flavor of all the ingredients really complement each other. It was my first time in and they took the time to show me the options. Don’t pay attention to the poor reviews because this place is top tier. I loved the selection of sauces as well.

I needed a quick bite before work, so I opened Google Maps to find a nearby café, and this one caught my eye. Surprisingly, I’ve been to this plaza before but never noticed this spot.

What convinced me to give it a try were the reviews mentioning large portion sizes (some people even said things like “the portion is huge, the lid won’t even close, I couldn’t finish it” etc.). So, I placed an online order for pick-up.

Unfortunately, the portion size wasn’t that big at all (I'll attach a photo so you can judge for yourself whether it’s enough or not for you).

But what really disappointed me - is the hummus. Or rather, this tasteless, textureless mush that had nothing to do with actual hummus. It was completely flavorless and unrecognizable, definitely not something that should be called hummus 😳🤯 I’ve never tasted anything watery like it, and I was honestly shocked… I couldn’t and didn’t even want to eat it - it was just unpleasant 🤢

The rice and chicken were average - nothing special in terms of spices or depth of flavor. The so-called Mediterranean salad turned out to be just finely chopped tomatoes and cucumbers - no olives, onions, feta cheese, or spices. I’m glad I ordered extra tomatoes and cucumbers on the side because they actually tasted better than the salad.

Funny enough, the tastiest part of the whole meal turned out to be the garlic sauce - for which I paid an extra $1 😁 (while in other places you can happily get five different Mediterranean sauces for free).

I paid $23 for this one meal including tax. Sadly, it wasn’t worth the money. It didn’t live up to my expectations, and I’ve had much tastier and more affordable meals at other places that also claim to serve Mediterranean cuisine (even at the same price, the food was way better).

I don’t plan to return to this place even if they change the hummus recipe or improve the salad, chicken, and rice.
