This is my favorite coffee place. I started going when it first opened over a decade ago. It was one of the first coffee shop around when DTLA was emtpy.... now I fear it may not last. Hours are inconsistent (8am and not open yet), supplies too.... I hope I am wrong and this is just a phase.

Barista was friendly and very helpful! Gave me a spot-on description of the coffee ordered, and the coffee was excellent! I look forward to getting a pour over next time I'm in LA.

Really good coffee. Skip the cattycorner Starbucks and come here.Spring for Coffee was here before Starbucks and the sole survivor when Starbucks opened here - that should tell you something!
