Spring never disappoints! We brought friends from out of town, and we had a wonderful meal, starting with the white shrimp appetizer. The duck received rave reviews for the richness of flavor as well as the preparation. The saffron in the bourride complemented the fish. We closed with a panna cotta that was light and fresh. Spring is such a gem. We always enjoy our dinners there, and we are happy to have it in DTLA!
Well, they've moved to Yelp rez now so this might not matter. Really bad service. Mehhhhh food. Ordered drinks that never arrived. Pre-ordered birthday cake (on phone, not through Open Table) that never arrived. Food came out sporadically and, even though the restaurant was only 1/3 filled, was served to the wrong people. I'd skip it for brunch. Very attractive place. Not a keeper in my book!
Arrived at the start of the dining service, so very few people and very quiet which was nice. Our server was friendly and efficient. The food blended flavors and used fresh ingredients in a creative way - I had the hamachi starter and the pasta with rabbit. We shared the rhubarb mousse dessert which was light and refreshing, thought rhubarb could have been cooked just a bit more to make it softer and bring out the flavor better.
