I absolutely loved my breakfast — everything was delicious and truly high quality. I especially appreciated the drip coffee with the extra pot, such a nice touch!
I also have to mention the ham — I honestly didn’t expect to like it that much because I’m usually not a fan of ham, but this one was incredibly flavorful and delicious. Such a pleasant surprise. Definitely recommend!

When Sally Met Sally came with salmon that wasn’t smoked! Incredibly good! Very impressed with the blueberry jam as well.
Seating is spartan but acceptable. Probably a good idea to keep people from getting too comfortable and sitting there all day I suppose.
Parking is nonexistent.

Great place. The only thing is, the caviar didn’t seem authentic to me. Considering that I’m quite familiar with different types of caviar, this one lacked the characteristic flavor and was difficult to bite through — it was overly firm.
For $25, I would expect a spoonful of good, real caviar, please.

I used to love this place, but their service has gotten absolutely terrible. The last time we came on a weekday, it wasn’t even busy and we waited 45 minutes for our egg rice. We didn’t say anything, fine, it happens. But today was the last straw. We came on Sunday for brunch and stood in a huge line for 35 minutes, only to be told at the register that the pancakes were sold out. Why couldn’t you tell people while they were standing in line? Why let people wait that long just to find out everything is gone? Out of frustration, we ordered the shakshuka because I saw it being served to another table with a long, beautiful loaf of bread and thought, okay, that looks amazing, let’s try it. We ordered it. Waited another 40 minutes. And then my shakshuka came without the long bread, because it was suddenly sold out too, even though just a minute earlier the table next to us received it with the long bread. No one came over to explain, no one asked if that was okay, no one offered an alternative or tried to fix it. I will never come back to this place, and I definitely don’t recommend it to anyone. We spent an hour and a half just to leave in a terrible mood.

Came here on Wednesday around noon. It wasn’t crowded as I thought so I was able to order and enjoy my lunch faster than I expected. Shakshuka was good but French toast was my favorite because it was super scrumptious. Food took a bit of time but it was worth waiting for sure.

Sqirl is one of the tastiest breakfast options in Silver Lake, as well as one of the most trendy and expensive. The lines here can get quite long so I suggest stopping in early. They have three different seating areas, one small area inside where you order, outside on the side of the building, and their largest seating area is directly out front on the sidewalk. Parking in this area can be a little bit tricky, there isn’t a dedicated parking lot. It will be street parking only. The staff that we encountered was very friendly, but the ordering process is extremely slow, for some reason this line only crawls by, and everyone behind the counter taking orders does not seem to be in any type of rush.
The menu does have a lot of great options on it. We started off with the Yogurt Parfait Bowl and we thought it was terrific. Everything was just really fresh and well balanced, and we were very happy with it. We also ordered the Ricotta Toast and jam and decided to do all strawberry because the other flavors did not sound nearly as interesting. This too was very good and I would get it for the strawberry jam alone. For my breakfast, I chose the Silky Soft French Eggs and really liked them. The goat cheese in the center is what made it for me and overall they was just really good. It takes quite a long time to be able to sit down to eat and the prices are high here, but the food is honestly really good and the staff is friendly, so I believe it is worth it if you’re in the area.

I love everything about L.A., including the interesting options for sidewalk dining.
Got the crispy rice with chicken and enjoyed a solid hour of delicious food and people-watching. Everyone here is beautiful!

Used to be much better. Ordered from here and the food was extremely late, kitchen issues not delivery. Ricotta toast cold and soggy (maybe leave cheese and jam off toast for delivery?). Rice bowl was fine. Pancakes managed to be soggy/wet on one side and tough on the other?.
