This place was busy my entire visit and for good reason. It has a really cool artisanal shop next door of jams, and unique groceries. Dining on their patio was very “LA”. It had all the trendy hipsters in their jeans and vintage sweaters for the overcast day, Bustling with conversation, this place still provided excellent service and a delicious dish verified by their very popular Salmon Noice salad. (Probably spelled that wrong) But it was the last thing on their very long and tempting menu. Can’t wait to come back.

I overall like Sqirl. The latke tot is consistently good and the coffee bevs always hit. Are there better breakfasts? Sure. But it's fun to take my friend from home on the East Coast here to show them some "California cuisine". The people watching is outstanding.

My only complaint is that the long cooked chicken and rice porridge didn’t come in a bigger size because it was one of the best breakfast meals I’ve ever had! The ricotta toast was also delicious.
