Voodoo Vin Reviews
This is one of my favorite local gems, I literally struggle not to lick the plate every time.
My friends and I came last Saturday to celebrate one of my friends birthday, there was limited seating, but the owner was extremely nice and offered us a table outside, we didnt mind the noise from the outside. We wanted to try this place for the longest, the appetizer is delicious! The mains dishes got sold out but the cook was nice enough to make a new dish for us to try.. I gotta say it was the best thing ever, very flavorful, and the meat was soft and just melts in your mouth....read full review
Cute and nice and delicious 🤍
Voodoo Vin is a cozy natural wine bar and bistro that offers a full Persian menu, reminiscent of French wine restaurants. The restaurant features thoughtful ingredients and exceptional quality, with a warm and attentive staff. Vegetarians will find a wide variety of options on the menu, including Nazkhatoun (eggplant dip) w/ feta, Ghormeh Sabzi, shallot dip, Shirazi salad, and cucumber dip. Customers praise the amazing wines, unique bites like the Fesenjan and beef stew with red kidney beans, which are perfectly spiced and seasoned. The Fesenjan with tahdig is some of the best, and the desserts, including ice cream dishes and tarts, are highly recommended. The restaurant is known for its fresh, market produce and natural wine list, which many consider one of the best in town. The owner/chef is praised for being sweet, and the overall experience is described as warm, lively, and enjoyable from start to finish. Parking is available just south of the restaurant on the corner of Virgil and Melrose.
