I do not usually take the time to do this but my experience with a specific employee at the 1898 Westwood Blvd. Los Angeles, CA Starbuck's location (Westwood & Missouri) today 11/15/19 at 8:50am was so good that I wanted the employee to get recognition. I was having a nice little panic attack about several things this morning, so I thought I'd go get a coffee to help. ...Because adding caffeine to this mix is a great idea, clearly. The morning shift at this store is consistently on top of their game, and on top of providing the Third Place atmosphere (yes, I'm a former barista). The PM shift is consistently terrible, and nothing like their morning counterpart. Today's visit was probably the worst PM encounter. A barista wearing a badge with the name Tyler was behind the counter, and did such an amazing job at being withdrawn, rude, edgy, anxious, and BARELY audible.
