They've made my drink wrong so many times and constantly make me late from break even though I order ahead and come AFTER the suggested time it's ready. Might as well choose the coffee bean down the walkway instead.

Well I had my annual check up and while I got there for an early morning appointment I decided to check out the Starbucks at Cedars Sinai . These guys have a long line at all times. Doctors & Nurses mostly but what amazed me so was the fact that no matter how busy they were they were fast! The drinks were awesome! This is by far their busiest store! The personnel are friendly and the store is very clean. They have a long couch and 3 tables. I love this Starbucks!

It's generally ok. It's convenient. I don't feel comfortable here today.I'm noticing that the few black ppl who enter (1 other than myself this evening 12/28) are not greeted or talked to kindly. Why? ?I let 2 ppl go ahead of me since the protein boxes are further away and they lined up while my back was turned. I was the only person in line and was left there. No one spoke to me. I noticed it, but assumed they were busy.A batista brought someone from the other side and addressed me as sir. I am clearly not. I looked perplexed and she just had the other woman move in front of me without apologizing. Her colleague (orange/red hair) at the food station must have noticed my look. I told her that her colleague referred to me as sir and I'm not. A tall young man w/ black hair looked over as I said it. Neither apologized. The batista continued with my order and was friendly. Didn't ask for a name, but I paid with the app which includes my name.A shorter batista gave me my drink. I sat and observed the interaction with the mobile orders and new customers. They welcomed everyone, spoke clearly. The shorter batista giving the drinks showed enthusiasm and friendliness to all the customers who were not black. She mumbled something to me and pushed the drink to me. I opted to sit and observe instead of leaving this visit. A black man came in (no welcome like every other customer except me) and asked a question, the woman mumbled abruptly and he left. She spoke with enthusiasm and friendliness with every other customer so it wasn't a general rudeness. Most ppl entering don't acknowledge their welcome. I would have since that is who I am. Now I'm sitting here regretting coming here, but it is quick and I like it better than the Cafe while my family is here. It's almost 2024, let's treat everyone equally. Especially if hiring practices don't appear to be inclusive. Learn to greet ppl without gender and kindly get your waiting customers help while fixing another person's order. If there is a habit of calling black women, sir as some low key racist shade, just stop. Apologize when you make an error and offend someone.I missed most of my visit just sitting here to see if the place is just rude to everyone or ppl who look like me. Welp, it was only the 3 black ppl.If your black and you just thought this location at certain times was meh, not overtly rude,, but not friendly like other locations, well it's actually friendly if you're not black.

My experience at this Starbucks was marred by an appalling incident of discrimination. Despite ordering six drinks and patiently waiting for 20 minutes, the staff shockingly informed me that they refused service to Palestinians. Such overt racism not only stains the reputation of this particular establishment but also raises broader questions about the commitment to inclusivity within the Starbucks brand. This incident is a stark reminder that there is still work to be done in fostering an environment free from discrimination and bias. Starbucks must address and rectify such behavior to uphold its values and ensure an inclusive experience for all customers.

I’ve been coming here for exactly 42 days since my brother was admitted to the hospital. The employees here are rude and condescending. The baristas are inconsistent and when drinks are made incorrectly or the espresso tastes burnt they have declines to remake our drink several times. Sometimes they give me the perfect amount of half and half for my venti drip coffee on a couple occasions a shirt Latina barista has refused to give me more than 2 TBS of milk and has demanded I pay for anymore milk than was given. These people need to not be causing grief when all customers want is coffee made right and dealing with a barista who isn’t difficult on TOP of already dealing with family who are patients of this hospital or possibly dealing with a death of a child or family member. These people need to remember where they’re located and show some compassion and kindness.

Barista, Irene was very rude upon my arrival to pick up my mobile order. Even when I expressed her rudeness was clear she responded with more rudeness. Whereas, this location is centered at and serves a medical facility that provides service to a plethora of sick patients and their grieving families, you'd think the employees here would have a bit more compassion and even if that is unavailable for Irene to serve, at least, provide service that is to Starbucks standards. Oh, & her name was provided with a death stare after asking for her name 3 times once I finally received my order from her.

Second time getting coffee from here and had a great experience. My husband is having surgery today so I'll be at the hospital all day. It's nice to have a Starbucks in the hospital to stay caffeinated. I walked in around 10:15 and it was busyyyyy. Lots of nurses and doctors on break. I got an iced doppio and walked around the garden to pass some time. Great location and great customer service.

This Starbucks is absolutely terrible. The staff is so disorganized and honestly rude at times. I don't understand why the mobile orders are hidden behind a plexiglass divider so that you have to get the attention of an employee to pick up your order and they constantly make drinks wrong but then give you attitude when you ask for the correct drink.

I love this location. It is right in the middle of cedars sinai. It is a place to get some self care if you have a loved one in a procedure. It is very busy but the staff is very efficient and friendly.

I really hate to give a location like this a bad review, but there are definitely things you need to keep in mind. I came here 3 times over my stay at Cedars. The first time they were swamped. I think it was during a shift change at the hospital. The other two is was slow. However 2 out of the 3 times when I ordered a hot drink, they gave it to me iced. I wasn't the only person that was happening to. I saw other customers send theirs back for the same thing. That's a big mistake to be making over & over again. The staff, however, are incredibly nice & were happy to remake any orders and didn't seem to get flustered by the crowds/having to redo orders. That's good. So, just be aware that your drink might take awhile and it might need to be remade. I'd say this isn't the Starbucks to go to if you are looking to get in & out fast.
