The nicest people wirking here - my coffee got cold and they offered to make me a new drink. Awesome tables inside and outside.

Not a huge Starbucks fan but really enjoyed this pumkin cold brew, also the store design is cool breaking away from the standard old Starbucks theme

I have been a loyal Starbucks customer for years, often buying coffee twice a day through the app and collecting stars.
Today, I went to the Westwood branch at the junction of Weyburn and Broxton. I didn’t order coffee because I just needed a quiet place to sit for about 30 minutes to send an email. After finishing my work, I politely asked if I could use the restroom. The staff asked if I had purchased something that day. When I said no, they refused to give me the restroom code unless I bought something.
I was shocked and disappointed. As a long-time and frequent customer, I never expected to be treated this way. This experience made me reconsider my loyalty, and I’ve decided not to buy from this location anymore.
Starbucks is meant to be a welcoming place for the community, but unfortunately, this branch failed to reflect that.
Horrible customer service!’ I am from NJ and this is my 1st time in California. I walked in there today 6.5 months pregnant with my 3 yr old daughter. I asked to use their bathroom before purchasing anything because my daughter was antsy and said she had to pee. I asked the lady at the register if my 3 yr old daughter could use the bathroom and she said no and sent us to taco bell or whole foods across the street. I said to her “she is 3 “ and she told me “it’s policy”. my daughter started repeatedly saying “ i have to pee” while we were walking out. She was very insensitive and withdrawn to the matter. There were about 5 other employees standing there watching too. It's unbelievable that someone would really turn away a pregnant woman and a 3 yr old from using the bathroom. I am a supervisor at a hospital, and policy can always be adjusted depending on the circumstance and when it’s necessary. The service at this Starbucks was horrible and i would not advise any one to go back there. This was a horrible welcome to this state and made me really appreciate my Starbucks at home in Englewood, NJ with excellent customer service and wonderful hospitable employees.

A reliable study spot, but be aware of the environment.
This Starbucks is a textbook example of a bustling college coffee shop. It's almost always packed with students on their laptops, and for good reason—the free Wi-Fi and ample seating (when you can find it) make it a great place to get work done. The staff is typically efficient and friendly, and the coffee and food are consistent with what you'd expect from the Starbucks brand.
However, a recurring issue that's part of the Westwood experience is the presence of homeless individuals who sometimes come in to sit down. While the staff generally handles the situation professionally and the individuals are often just seeking a place to rest, it can occasionally make the atmosphere feel a bit less comfortable. This is a reality of the location and not a reflection on the staff or the store itself.
Overall, if you're looking for a dependable place to study near campus, this Starbucks is a solid option. Just be prepared for a busy, sometimes loud environment and the occasional social issue that comes with being in a major city.

It says they close at 10pm, but when I walked in at 9:57 pm, they said they close at 9:55 pm and refused to take my order. That's not ok; business hours exist for a reason. Poor customer service; and they were rude about it (they never gave an apology). (This was for the night shift on July 10, 2025).

Very clean.
Located on the corner of Weyburn and Broxton Avenues in Westwood near the UCLA campus. No drive-thru.
We stopped here on Friday night for a coffee run. The store is spacious with plenty of tables to sit and enjoy your coffee or perhaps get work done.
We experienced unsatisfactory service, waited quite some time for someone to take our order and when the cashier finally came to the register, she was rushing us and not in the best mood. Our drinks were not up to standard. I ordered a 'White Chocolate Mocha' which tasted watery and oddly too sweet.
Our experience here was not a good one, therefore we will skip this location next time.
I looked on Google and saw that the cafe Starbucks in Westwood closes at 10:00 pm. I arrived here on 5 May at 9:47 am and it was already closed.
