I have been coming to the Starbucks for a very long time as long as I have been a patient over at UCLA today when I came in to get the cannonball drink for Valentine's Day when the parties are heard it was my birthday she offered to make me a free drink I wasn't expecting it nor did I ask but thank you very much though

All the baristas here are super kind and accommodating, especially Juliana. She makes my drink perfect and always has a smile on her face. I can tell the energy she brings into the workspace is very uplifting and positive.

Refused to give me a plastic fork although I bought multiple drinks and am a consistent loyal customer
They close the doors well before 10 PM, even though they’re supposed to be open until 10. When I knocked to ask why they were closed, the staff just rolled their eyes. Really unprofessional.

I’ve been visiting this Starbucks location for several years and the staff has consistently provided courteous and reliable service. One employee in particular, Val, consistently stands out for her professionalism and attentiveness. She is always welcoming, demonstrates excellent customer service, and goes above and beyond to ensure a positive experience especially after my long night shifts! Val’s ability to remember both me and my usual order adds a thoughtful, personal touch. Her dedication and professionalism significantly enhance the overall customer experience.
I’m from Kuwait I haven’t been to LA since ‘09, but shoutout to this branch for keeping the sign green. It looks way better than the white one and gives off nostalgic vibes. That’s probably the reason why I loved Starbucks as a kid despite not being allowed to drink coffee. (They had the best cookies until ‘19, when they changed the recipe). Please do not change the sign it works well with its curvature and green generally just looks better than white. I wish all branches still kept that facade.

My review is really for Starbucks as a business. I will always sympathize with the employees--I don't care if the service is subpar, working here has to be awful.
Starbucks in 2026 is not really a place to sit down and drink coffee. Seating is not comfortable, the music is fiercely loud to discourage people from hanging around, and the coffee is not that great.

I have been visiting this Starbucks for many years, dating back to when the manager, Steven, was here. Although I had not visited for some time due to transferring work locations, Val still remembered my order. She is one of the kindest and most welcoming baristas at this location. I was genuinely impressed that she remembered my rather complicated order. She has consistently done an excellent job supporting the morning shift every time I have visited this store.
However the atmosphere- even though the store can become quite crowded inside, which may feel overwhelming to some customers, the addition of new seating has helped improve the overall environment.

Working in fast-paced customer service myself, I know how challenging it can be to deal with rude or difficult customers, yet every time I go in, the baristas stay professional. Huge shout out to Sumi in Westwood! She’s hands-down the most amazing barista I’ve ever met. Every time I come in, she remembers my order and even my small preferences, which makes the experience feel so personal and welcoming. She’s efficient, friendly, and genuinely cares about making every cup perfect. I can tell she truly embodies the Starbucks mission of creating a warm and inviting environment for every customer. Sumi deserves all the recognition—she makes me want to come in every day!

Not a huge Starbucks fan but really enjoyed this pumkin cold brew, also the store design is cool breaking away from the standard old Starbucks theme
