WHAT? I CAN'T HEAR YOU! OH WAIT, DID YOU CALL MY NAME? I CAN'T HEAR YOU! SORRY FRIEND, I CAN'T HEAR YOU EITHER! Drink I wanted was expensive, only showed Grande on wall menu. Sandwich was mediocre.

This relatively small Starbucks is on Sunset immediately next to one of the main Kaiser Permanente buildings. So, it should be no surprise for you to find lines of people in scrubs when you enter the door. This Starbucks is definitely geared for people on the go. Aimed primarily toward medical professionals and patients, the place closes at a rather early 8pm on weekdays and 6pm on weekends. While there is a small seating area up a step or two, I rarely see more than a couple people in there at any given time. This is not the hangout Starbucks like the one on Vermont and Prospect. The service is pretty good. I usually order in advance through the app and grab my drink when I get there. Occasionally, I will have to wait for 5 or 10 minutes, but that's usually when someone has gone for an office run and is carrying six different beverages. Starbucks coffee is...Starbucks coffee. Is it wonderful? No. Is it awful? No. It's Starbucks: it's just everywhere. I will note that I think their cold brew and espresso is, as with other locations, the drinks that are the best on the menu.

If I could, I’d give this Starbucks 0 stars. The employees of this store are handpicked to be rude and work as slow as possible, I waited 15 mins to get 2 items warmed. I didn’t even get coffee. Horrible ! Avoid this store at ALL costs.

The staff are amazing, food is great, and drinks are always just right. The atmosphere is ...well, there are ALWAYS homeless here. So if you're OK with smelling them instead of your gingerbread loaf you're trying to eat, this is your place. There is usually someone outside asking you to buy stuff for them so be prepares for that at the least.

I stop here out of convenience every two weeks or so, the service is the same, associates busy talking about personal things and working which is not bad, but they either ignore you or frown upon if you interrupt them or ask them a question after being in front of them for a couple of minutes ignored.
