It was solid, but nothing out of the ordinary for a sushi place. I did love the ambiance. It reminded me of the little places I went to in Japan. So I do appreciate that aspect of my visit to this restaurant but would not necessarily feel the need to return.
9/6/23 Emily and I were walking through downtown Glendale looking for a place to have dinner. We went up and down a couple blocks before finally deciding to go to Kopan Sushi and Ramen Bar. It wasn't busy and we were seated right away. The menu is very colorful with helpful photos of the food they serve. The waiter brought water right away for us as well. The shop was super cute and quaint. I ordered the Kara Miso ramen, and the broth was flavorful and the noodles were nice and chewy. However, I feel like there could have been more pork and I wished it was sliced thicker. Also, I wouldn't say that the ramen was anything special or different from other ramen places I have been to, which is why I would give this place 4 stars instead of 5.
