This is such a great spot to grab onigiri. The rice is so good. Not too filled and the flavors are always good.

I’ve been coming to sunny blue for a few years now. I usually go to the Santa Monica location, but dropped by this location as I was in the area. I ordered my omusubi with extra filling - they told me they would have to charge me extra for that, which I was surprised as the other location never charged me, but agreed. I took my food to go to eat at a park. Upon eating all the omusubi, every single one I ordered did not have extra filling, and they tasted very unseasoned. The food is already pretty pricey but to be up charged more than $1 for extra filling and then for them to be under filled and under seasoned was super disappointing. I definitely won’t be coming back to this location and wish I could get a refund :(

Disappointed as they are closed through Jan 4 but failed to disclose this on any of their social channels or website….. drove all the way there for it to be closed

Small but friendly pop and mom take out or eat in, seating outside and a table inside for 6 or under
The hours are short and the items are slightly pricey for what you get, but it really is a clean light meal with interesting flavors. I think it's worth trying once to see if it's your cup of tea. I put it in the same category as Kura sushi, gimmicky but a fun trip. Quality is a bit better.

The food tastes all right but for $5 a rice ball? Thank you.

Got a last minute takeout order. They were very nice and explained the omusubi and quickly prepared them to order. Absolutely delicious. Lucky Cat was my favorite, but it was hard to decide.
