Came in at 10:45pm and they’re already cleaning up saying store is closed. Maybe adjust the time of operation if store usually closes earlier than it’s listed?

In most cases i don’t complain about food but this place needs to do a better job on quality control. I’ve been going to this place over a month now (ordered over 20 times and accumulated around 100 points —they give 1 point for every dollar you spend so you can tell that this is my go to place). Recently, i’ve noticed some quality control issues in a sense that my drinks are often too sweet. One time I ordered mango green milk tea (one of my go to menus) with 0% sugar and realized that it’s as sweet as when i ordered 50% sweetness. It was far more sweeter than when i had ordered 25%. Same issue with panda milk tea & sunright boba milk tea. I completely understand that you are understaffed but PLEASE.. MAKE SURE THAT ALL DRINKS ARE CRAFTED WITH THE RIGHT AMOUNT OF INGREDIENTS! i don’t wanna call out any names or mention my usual visiting hours since i don’t want to get anyone in trouble.. but i strongly believe that manager should take this issue more seriously and hire more people if your workers are too tired to make drinks.. i mean.. the place is pretty crowded everytime i visit so it makes perfect sense that part-timers are exhausted

Update to my last review- After being invited back by the manager, I went back to see if the quality had gotten any better since my last visit. I am so happy that the quality is great again! I hope my last review won't discourage anyone from coming here now as the drinks are so good. I'm looking forward to new items to try as they add to the menu in the future. * Please note that I did receive a comped drink for my return visit, but my reviews will always be honest.

At the time of this writing, sunright had a collaboration with MapleStory. Maplestory is a PC game I grew up playing. I remember grinding for hours! I hear there's still a huge following and there's still many diehard fans - hence the collaboration. There are a few Sunright Tea Studios across Southern California. I do find that this location is a little hard to find. I drove past it without realizing because I was focused on the the narrow hilly streets. In addition, as anyone in koreatown knows, it is extemely hard to find parking at night. There's just so much happening in the dense city. I learned there is a parking garage in the back. I had the strawberry Yakult drink. I thought it was very refreshing. I saw that their slogan that they shake their tea 17 times - whatever the magic is, it's pretty good. You are able to order via the screens to the left and for the most part, it is cashless. My friend has their app and was able to order online. They also have a loyalty rewards program. I think the draw back is the lack of indoor seating. I saw seats outside but was also too cold/loud. I'm also not sure if those seats were meant for Oakobing, where they spealize in shaved ice.

Updated Review! The owner from Sunright Tea Studio reached out via message and gave me any 2 free drinks. Customer service was well handled & would love to visit next time :) thank you so much! So far best boba place in ktown

Visited this Sunright location over the weekend while I was in Ktown. The interior is modern and clean and I appreciated the warm welcome by the staff. I find myself preferring less sweet drinks nowadays so having the option to adjust sweetness levels is a big plus. I ordered a oolong milk tea 25% sweet with grass jelly and it was terrific, a strong oolong flavor, creamy with a hint of sweetness and a playful texture from the grass jelly. The shop was lively but still got my drink in a few short minutes. Will definitely return whenever I am in the neighborhood.

I am a big fan of Sunright. My current favorites are the matcha strawberry latte, mango milk tea and white peach cheesefoam. What is best about this chain is they always serve up consistently made drinks across all their locations of which I have been to probably 10. This ktown shop is the usual modern and bright design with a friendly staff. I got lucky with street parking but theres a paid lot in the rear.

I have been to several Sunrights around socal and this spot in Ktown is one of my favorites. The staff is always welcoming and orders seem to be made faster here. I usually get something with cheesefoam and it never disappoints. The only issue is parking can be hard to find but its worth the wait

Drinks: - The Grapefruit jasmine tea was very refreshing. A nice drink to have on a hot day. The jasmine and grapefruit flavors were pretty balanced. There wasn't one that overpowered the other which I liked. I had this with the jelly topping and it was easy to slurp through the straw - The jasmine milk tea was very good. I'm a fan of tea forward milk tea and this was good at satisfying that tea craving Food: - N/A Ambience: - The restroom is in the back past a big glass door, you need a key that's hung on the merch wall to access it - There's like 3 stools to sit on in the whole place, so don't expect much of a café setting. I think there's a couple extra seats with tables outside though - The space feels pretty spacious Overall: The tea here is good, I did not like the boba though. They were a little on the harder side so it got tiring to chew and the texture wasn't that great. They also get stuck in the straw a lot. I found myself sucking the life out of these straws on multiple occasions to unblock the boba blockade. If you don't mind your cheeks getting sore (the face cheeks, not the other ones), be prepared for a face workout with the boba.

I love Sunright tea studio! Their drinks are always good. Just this location has too much hassle to park and nowhere to sit because people from bingsoo place next door always use the Sunright's tables :(

Hip and modern boba place, with fairly typical offerings, nothing too fancy. The boba is chewy, thick, and flavorful. Would recommend the Sunright milk tea. Pastries and macrons were also available for sale. There's a lot of space inside, but not much seating. There's a large neon sign for a photo-op. Kiosks are available if you want to expedite your order rather than going to the counter.

I came here after lunch with someone, for some boba you know, and I was never a fan of boba in general. I swiped thru the order machine for the customer favorite orders and chose the "Sunny Fruit Tea(I think)" with Honey boba. Surprisingly the honey boba was not that bad. It was just chewy jelly that was sweet and bland at the same time. The store was actually pretty bright and nice when you enter. You see two machines on the left side to order and you can go thru a wide variety of options. (Sorry I didn't take a picture) Anyways the one I ordered was a sweet, citrusy and peachy tea. I don't think I would try boba again unless it was with friends but it definitely changed my mind about boba. -Tony
