While this isn't my favorite omakase, you cannot beat the price points! Three separate experience options, with the more expensive offering wagyu.

Amazing experience! I came here for my birthday dinner and the Tokyo omakase was to die for. One of the best meals I had in my life. The staff is very attentive and has great recommendations for which sake to order, you can tell that they really care about the dining experience. Each course was fresh and delicious and really highlighted the best flavors. I have never enjoyed uni before, but here it was absolutely delicious. I can't wait to be back next time I have something to celebrate.

Came here for their omakase, which was a pretty good deal ($49 pp). We got here for a 7 pm reservation and shortly after the place was pretty full, booth and bar seating. They only had one waiter going around so service wasn't great but makes sense when they're 8 tables. The omakase itself was good for the price, you get a lot of food including appetizers, hand rolls and dessert. If you're looking for a casual omakase place without breaking the bank, I'd recommend checking them out.

Meh, save your money on this overpriced junk fish parlor. These days anyone, and everyone is advertising themselves as Omakase specialists, by taking oddball, slices of mackerel and carp and prancing them around as special and charging $90 for 7 pieces of sushi. It was below average fish, just arranged nicely. Don't waste your time, these are ramen guys, trying to branch out.

Best omakase that I’ve had for the price. 3 omakase’s to choose from. We had the most expensive, the Tokyo which was only $89. You get 8 pieces of sushi with most the fish from Japan. This includes uni. 2 hand rolls a one A5 Wagyu sushi. It also includes 3 appetizer dish’s which are excellent. A scollop, salmon and clam appetizer. They have a small but good sake selection. Will 100% be dinning here again!

Delicious sushi for a fraction of the price of other omakase places. A real hidden gem.

The service was amazing. The food even better. From the moment we entered we were greeted with enthusiasm and graciousness. Each course came with an explanation and unique presentation. They offered to explain anything we might not understand and never made us feel rushed. Quality food and quality service.

Perfect for a date night! Delicious food, unique appetizers, and not as expensive as many other omakase places. Attentive service. The sake ice cream at the end was amazing too!

We had the Kyoto omakase. Excellent service and great food. Had a good experience in a warm atmosphere.

We live on Sawtelle so we frequently go here when I crave good sushi. They recently changed the concept in which they only have 3 choices in the menu and all omakase. If you want more sushi you can just order more in the end. I feel that you get the value for your money and the sushi are of great quality. The only thing that I wish they'll change is the Nori they use. It's not crispy and in the end it's hard to bite into it. We really love this place and I highly recommend it. P.s. some if the pictures are from their old concept.

My daughter took me there for my birthday, just that reason alone got me excited, you see my daughter is a very busy person, we only see each other for special occasion, as mom I am so looking forward to this dinner, and the place didn't disappoint me, they only serve set dinner, and they offer 3 choices with different price points , the service was great, waitress was courteous , and eager to get you the food at the right pace, ambience was cozy and friendly, love the dessert, it tasted like sake sorbet but it wasn't, meaning no alcohol!! So cool! Every course was delicious, and I heard that they change the menu every now and then, you would assume Japanese set dinner would be crazily expensive but to my amazement, one person $75 for us both either tips included, now, where can you find that?!

Sushi Tsujita was very disappointing, in both the quality of the fish and the slow service. I cannot fully express just how unhappy I am with them. These are the same people who run the ramen houses down the street on Sawtelle, and are trying to serve omakase and not doing a good job of it. I ordered the Tokyo and paid almost $100 for what amounted to seven pieces of lukewarm sushi and a pair of tiny rolls, which would be okay if they were sublime -- but instead, these were far from it. The rolls contained chopped-up pieces of tasteless fish, and a stick of radish, which was ridiculous. The quality of the fish was sub-par and frankly, most of the sushi pieces all tasted like red snapper. The salmon would have been okay if it were served cold. It wasn't. The wagyu sushi is a gimmick. While cheaper than some other omakase, the low quality of the fish here makes Tsujita not worth the price. It's not worth any price. This was not what I expected from a high-end sushi place that charges these kinds of prices. This is not what I'd expect from any sushi place. The fact that I had to wait an hour to get my food was ridiculous -- not to mention that I left this restaurant still hungry! The servers are nice and they did respond quickly when I asked where my food was, but what I got appeared to be thrown together haphazardly. Clearly, the chefs are disorganized and do not know what they are doing. The fact that this sushi bar was two-thirds empty on a Friday night on busy Sawtelle can tell you all you need to know. It is BAD. I will never go here again. I wish I could give it zero stars. Tsujista should stick to making noodles. They should be ashamed of themselves for passing off inferior food like this and charging these kinds of high prices
