About Supita

Supita is a popular bakery in Sawtelle, known for its delicious Hong Kong-style pastries and classic drinks. Their cheese tarts are a standout, with flaky crusts and creamy fillings. Egg tarts are highly praised for their crunchy, flaky crust and soft custard with a great egg custard flavor that is not too sweet. The bakery also offers a variety of other baked goods, including pineapple bao, red bean bao, and green onion bao, which are frequently purchased by customers. The pineapple bun is soft and delicious, although some find the filling a bit soy-flavored and lacking the traditional bbq taste. Located in the heart of Sawtelle near ramen restaurants, Supita has a pleasant buttery smell that welcomes visitors. They offer four types of egg tarts—Portuguese, traditional, egg white, and coconut—each with its own unique flavor profile. Overall, Supita provides soft, fluffy baked goods that are a refreshing change from denser options. It remains a favorite for those seeking authentic Hong Kong-style pastries in West LA.

Their tarts are amazing, I try to go whenever I’m in the area because they taste so good.

Recent favorite Asian bakery. Old fashioned Hong Kong style bakery. Their regular egg tarts are the very best!

Other items I also repurchase multiple times are pineapple bao, red bean bao, and green onion bao.

Really hope they stay here for a long time.

Before I left Los Angeles, I used to come here every week for their amazing Hong Kong-style egg tarts. I must had hundreds of their egg tarts over the span of a year.

I also recommend their Portuguese egg tarts, and hot half-and-half.
