We had been disappointed when Berbere initially opened that there wasn't a wider range of actual Ethiopian dishes on the menu, but I am so glad my husband heard recently that they now offer this because we don't have to battle traffic to get to Fairfax any longer when we have a craving! Easily one of my favorite restaurants. The food is absolutely incredible (try the Wish Meal and Eat the Rainbow in particular, but everything I've had here was great). The atmosphere is calm and peaceful, which isn't usually my go to but turns out to be a lovely change of pace. Everybody I've encountered working here was nothing but friendly and the little berbere jars you can buy on your way out make for a lovely little gift to friends and family. Highly recommend!
