TABL M is exactly what DTLA needs more of!! It’s a total hidden gem where the owners treat you like family the moment you walk in. There’s a genuine sense of community here where fellow guests actually strike up conversations with one another! We tried the shish taouk, muhammara, and batenjein mekleh, and every bite was incredible. You can really taste the high quality of the ingredients - it’s clear the food is prepared with a lot of thought and love, can’t recommend...
It is a rare and special thing indeed to be able to have a delicious dinner in downtown that feels uniquely at home and extremely high quality, with pride and attentive detail found in every bite. Every single ingredient for every dish was clearly sourced with thoughtfulness and no corner cutting; you can taste it in the choice of olive oil on top of the dips, the way that bread is handmade and wood fire oven baked to order, and the timing of everything is brought out together...
One of the top Lebanese restaurants in DTLA. Authentic cuisine, run by a sweet Lebanese couple. The hummus is exceptionally creamy, and the shish taouk is just as tasty. reasonably priced and highly recommended.
