Located in Central Market in historic LA which is grittier than DTLA just so you know before heading that way. Much of this part of LA shuts down at 9p and metal doors cover most of the store fronts. Tacos Tumbras had more authentic meat selections than I've seen anywhere else. Tacos Tumbre is located the the Central Market in downtown LA. I ordered the Al Pastor Gordita and it looked huge. I had to ask for some salsa on the side and it seemed like the guy was unhappy that I asked for it. He did give me a small side of salsa. When I sat down to eat the Gordita, the bread used was hard as a rock and it was so tough I couldn’t even bite into it. I ended up just eating the Al Pastor filling with a fork which was delicious.
