Most expensive and smallest tacos I ever had in my life. I had the crispy fish, crispy shrimp, and ahi tuna tacos, which were for 28 dollars. The ahi tuna was the most mediocre tuna I ever ate. The crispy fish was good but definitely not better than an average fish taco anywhere. The crispy shrimp was better than average. Overall, tacos were good but not great, and the place is very tiny, and there are very few places to sit. Nothing makes up to the price, and thus I would never come back

Good breakfast burrito. I added steak and it came with sauces on the side and included chips. Everything tasted great. The burrito is a good option to split between two meals, decently heavy, and good flavor especially with the green salsa or the chipotle sauce. Kinda pricey came out to $18, but if splitting it with another person or into 2 meals, not a bad option.

"THIS" is truly a "hole in the wall."
It's probably one of the best of the bestest breakfast burritos, burritos and tacos in L.A.
Remember, this is L.A., the home to some of the best Mexican restaurants anywhere, and this hole in the wall will blow your mind away.
They also have other locations in which I would rate their "atmosphere" 🖐 stars!!

A Vegan Taqueria Gem!
Tacos Tu Madre is a must-visit for vegan and veggie lovers seeking authentic Mexican flavors. Their plant-based menu is packed with delicious options that will satisfy any craving. The tacos are flavorful, the portions are generous, and the service is friendly. Highly recommended! 🌮🌱

Great service. We loved the fish tacos.
Fresh and spicy. They made tacos for my son to order without cilantro.
Thank you!

Was super excited to try the breakfast burrito after all the good reviews, but the ingredients are obviously cheap and frozen. I think it was a kraft single slice of cheese, store bought guac, and frozen tater tots, just reheated. AND $14. Really disappointed.

Asked for the spiciest salsa they have, got an avocado concoction that barely popped a taste bud. Lol. Maybe she misheard? It's loud on the street a d inside the tin can of an eating area . Food tastes good though, tad greasy... maybe to be expected. Tad pricey but is the

A taco stand trying to profit on V. It clear has a "plant based menu". Though all prices for V options are multiple by 3. Not interested in going back.
I wanted to like this restaurant. I really did. But the facts on the ground and my experience there just don't add up when I went there. First off, they got my food order completely wrong. I ordered a shrimp burrito, but they made a fish burrito instead. When it was brought out to our table, I told the server that I ordered shrimp, not fish. The server just froze up like a deer-in-headlights, and didn't say anything or offer to fix it/re-do it or anything. After an awkward pause, I just threw my arms up and said I can eat fish, even though it's not what I ordered (also we were on a time crunch for lunch, so that had me give in instead of requesting them to fix my order that they got wrong). The server lady just plopped the tray on our table and walked away, without a care in the world. Not a great start.
As we were eating, I requested some hot sauce or any kind of salsa. The somewhat unresponsive server lady said she brought out their "spiciest" sauce they had, which was some sort of avocado sauce. I used it on my burrito, and it was decent, but absolutely not spicy. It was apparent to me after this, that this staff member did not seem to know much about the restaurant she was working at, and my dining experience was going further into total disappointment. TL;DR I'm definitely not coming back here, it was very disappointing. The service for me on that day was unintentionally awful, food was decent, but that's if you actually get what you ordered, because I sure as heck didn't.
