I ate at Terra twice within this last month and I've really enjoyed each visit. One highlight I wanted to point out from my recent visit, was the hostess sat my friend and I near a mother with 2 little kids (like ages 4 and 3). While the kids were pretty well behaved there was the typical fussing and moving about, and the mom getting up and down to handle their needs. I wasn't really wanting to sit next to little kids at a restaurant like Terra, but I didn't want to cause a fuss so I wasn't going to ask for a different table. However, a different host/manager must have observed the situation and she discretely came up and asked if we wanted to move. I said yes and thanked her for arranging the table change. I appreciated attention to detail and reading the room without having to be asked.
The food is excellent and the patio space is very pretty and has good sun coverage and heaters if it's cold. The waitstaff is very nice and attentive. The only downside was that once it got busier the the waitstaff kind of disappeared and it was a long wait to get coffee and desserts ordered. Thankfully in both instance I was there we were fine to just hangout and enjoy the space.

Beautiful atmosphere and view on a beautiful day, good service and appropriate menu. Over all, great!
Very poorly managed. Not accommodating at all. Front of house was rude. They insisted we couldn't even sit at a table near friends since we opted not to do their pre fixe menu since the majority of the group were children. They had plenty of tables near our friends but insisted we had to sit inside while they sat outside. Didn't make any sense. Horribly ran restaurant. I've never experienced anything like that.
I've come here several times, and the food was a complete miss this time. Everything was extremely acidic, it was inedible. I won't be coming back for a while.
Delicious food, absolutely recommend it. One issue: the restaurant was hard to find. Eventually I saw a sign directing me up the stairs.
Our server Olivia was exceptional. Professional, friendly, one of the better servers we’ve encountered in Los Angeles. Kudos to Brace as well, who came to the rescue after a slightly rocky start when we decided to dine at Terra last minute without a reservation. We had just purchased a lovely bottle of wine from Dino downstairs and hoped to enjoy it with a nice meal. Brace immediately noticed us trying to find a comfortable spot in the bar or lounge area and, within moments, found a table for us. He happily sat us with Olivia and the rest of the evening was wonderful.

We made a reservation at the last minute, and the only seating option was "Lounge - Hightop." This label was misleading as we assumed it would be either bar seating or a high table. Instead, it was a shared space of low chairs around a fire pit (unlit) -- no tables whatsoever. Additionally, it was partly in the sun and no staff member was available to help get some shade. The rest of the experience was fine -- the bartender who took our order was friendly and helpful, the staff brought us utensils and food in a timely manner, the food was good albeit overpriced. But the experience of hunching over the edge of a firepit to eat was... not ideal. This seating option should be better labeled so guests know not to expect a full service meal or even proper tables to eat at, but is much more geared towards having drinks.
I had such a great time at Terra last Monday! The highlight of my visit was definitely the bartender (Melvin) — super friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience feel personal and fun. The drinks were spot on — perfectly balanced and beautifully presented. You can really tell they take pride in their craft and enjoy connecting with guests. I’ll definitely be coming back — thanks for making the night so enjoyable!

Our waiter was amazing. He had great suggestions and was very friendly. We chose to sit inside rather than on the patio for a little more privacy and it was perfect. Everything we tried was delicious.

Very nice outdoor dinning experience especially on a warm sunny day. Service was friendly, prompt, and very professional. Food was really good and tasty. Entire experience was not rushed and we spent several hours enjoying the day and our meal with friends.
Lovely venue, nice views, delicious food (trumpet mushrooms limited quantity) salads and fish plentiful.
The food and service were terrific especially since the pasta wasn't too good but the manager took the dessert and coffee off the bill.
Staff offered good recommendations.
The service and main food was excellent but some of side dishes and appetizers were not worth the price .
