I love the vibe here, but the food is just okay. Our server was okay but didn't seem very genuine. The people actually serving the food were much more genuine and friendly. The drinks were great and vibe was great, but service and food were just okay.

Justin was our server and he was fantastic - very welcoming and accommodating- and funny! The food was delicious, must recommend the mushroom ragu pasta. It's a beautiful patio and I will definitely be back!

Booked this reservation last minute after a college graduation for a group of 9 people. I am to blame for the unpleasant meal and experience as I didn't read the pre fixed menu for a large group rule. I've been to Terra before and enjoyed my meal, so I figured this would be a win. I was wrong. Our reservation was set for 3:30 but our table wasn't ready. We were a lrge group, so we didn't mind, and we all reviewed the menu in high hopes of our meal. The host didn't mention we wouldn't be able to order off the regular menu then. Not only was our meal a little over 800, but the pre fixed menu included 3 different dishes of cheese and bread. This is fine as an appetizer but not for 3 of the 5 pre fixed courses. There is no customizing the menu at all. Then we were served spinach and cheese ravioli, which was so bland and disappointing to be followed by a bland, smelly branzino. It's 65 dollars per person for a disappointing menu. We didn't even order cocktails because no one in our group was happy. The server was lovely and tried to be accommodating, but she said if we ordered individually for everyone, our food would take forever (huh). We asked if we could split the table up so we were no longer a large group, and everyone could order freely, but they said no, which was strange as the restaurant was fairly empty. Overall, it was disappointing. We won't be back ever. We have no problem spending money on good food. This was NOT IT!!

We arrived for our 6:30pm reservation and the hosts seemed surprised we wanted to sit inside. It didn't appear anyone else was dining inside, so there did not appear a server assigned to our section. Took a little longer than I would have expected to get our order in, our wagyu beef app order was missed, but was not on our final bill. Good food, we ordered the Tagliatelli, the cavatelli and ravioli....each of us loved our own more than the others...so good choices made. Ordered the sourdough bread and was charged $3 for a small scoop of butter...really guys? $10 for bread is fine if you don't include it with dinner, but $3 for a dollop of butter...now you are gouging. Tough location to find for our first visit, but would still consider going back now we know how to get there.

Beautiful view of the Hills , pleasant atmosphere . Delicious food with the aroma Italian herbs. The grill meat dish was magnificent , soft and fragrant , special thanks to the chef for this! . Service was also good and attentive . We asked for a cocktail that wasn't on the menu and we got it prepared for us ! They found out what language to congratulate me on the birthday and did it . It was very cute !

Seems like every time we come to Terra, the quality gets worse and worse, such a shame because this used to be our go-to spot. Service is SEVERELY lacking — waited 20 minutes to get a high chair, waters were constantly empty and it was impossible to get a hold of anyone to refill them, busser dripped water everywhere when he finally refilled them. Worst of all, 3 out of 4 entrees arrived to the table, it took our server 10 minutes to come check on us (and we had to flag him down), by the time the 4th entree came all our $30/$40 entrees were cold. Views are spectacular, especially around sunset but the vibe is ruined by BLASTING music. We were shouting across a 2ft wide table and could barely hear one another. Managers did turn the volume down a bit, 20-30 mins after we requested it. Disappointing experience all around and would not recommend anymore. Not worth the value. Just eat downstairs.

We were visiting L.A. from Denver for a few days. My daughter had lived and worked in Beverly Hills for 4.5 years and we had eaten at Terra quite often, so we expect the best service every time. During this visit, we were very disappointed that only the hostess knew my daughter and I were there for a birthday. She wished my daughter a Happy Birthday. Our server, Justin, said nothing, was inattentive, took orders from 3 tables which were sat after us, and neglected to refill water. Both Justin and the floor managers were all too busy speaking with one another and the DJ playing music. It was such a disappointing experience that we did not even order dessert like we usually do. The server assistants were phenomenal, though.

Meh. This was the last time I'll go to Terra or recommend it. Service was great and the rooftop is lovely but the food is so mid and laughably overpriced. Truly the pasta options in the freezer section at Trader Joe's is better. I don't remember the food being so subpar. Totally not worth it.

It was my bday dinner and they forgot my wine twice. The wine took almost 30 min to arrive after my friends received their cocktails. In addition my order was incorrect not once but twice! They brought out my friends food and realized my order was incorrect (I had to remind them of what I ordered) it was remade (incorrectly) delivered 15 min after my friends food arrived. Taken away AGAIN, remade for a 3rd time only to arrive at the end of everyone else's meal..

My biggest problem was that the seat cushions were so worn out that sitting was incredibly uncomfortable. We brought friends there after having a wonderful lunch at Terra few months ago, but the food was only okay. We all had the tasting Menu. The wines were good, not exceptional. We head two different whites. The desserts were also just okay. I love the setting of the restaurant, but they definitely need to update their seating. I would softly recommend Terra, with the above caveats.

We had the grilled branzino, pappardelle ai funghi, and Tonnarelli all'Astice. Everything was delicious, plus the rooftop view was unbeatable. Terra also has an excellent selection of wines by the glass that pair perfectly with the food.

We were a party of 5 for dinner. Our order for salads came out within an acceptable time frame. But we had to wait nearly 1/2 hour for the main course to arrive. When we asked why it was taking so long, we were told it's because they're busy with a private party. That's a pretty lame excuse and one that we don't accept. Now let's talk about the value of the meal. The prices don't really reflect value. $45 for a filet of branzino should include some side veggies. To make things worse one of us asked for some hot sauce, they brought out a very small amount in a dish and then charged us for it. Really ? As someone that eats out very frequently, we were very disappointed with this experience.

We were seated on the lovely outdoor patio-plenty of heat lamps to keep you warm. Our server, Kevin, was knowledgable, friendly and professional. The food was well prepared and delicious.

If you are going for ambience, service, location and views then it's a good choice. We felt the food was overpriced for the portion size and quality. I've never seen a meat skewer SO tiny. The meat pieces were 1/2 inch cubes?? My pasta reminded me of tinned Heinz spaghetti. I'm not sure we'll return.

Overall very nice. Did request to have loud background music turned down. The waiter did drop it down a notch, still too noisy. Being our first time, it may have been better to offer a change to seat us in the covered patio, where I noticed there were more customers. Carpaccio was a little lacking, adda side item/ even nice crackers would help.
