The 1917 Wine Bar & Bistro

Honestly the food was great and me and my friends enjoyed it very much. Unfortunately, the service was not very great, the server we got, Belle, talks really bad about customers behind their back and she thinks we can’t hear! Very smiley and charismatic at the table but my friend overheard her talking to another another employee while she got up to get something from her car. She overheard her say that “she hates when people come in and sit in her section and look like they don’t have any money because she won’t get any tip” can you believe that! WOW. Talk about being judgmental towards customers!

This was our first time here. The atmosphere was very beautiful, perfect for brunch or a nice lunch out. I ordered the sangria, which was delicious and sweet and a lasagna for lunch. The lasagna was very flavorful. The sauce was tasty, with plenty of cheese and meat. It is definitely shareable. The service was great. Our server was attentive and friendly and gave us some great recommendations. I will be back!

The restaurant is beautiful and the service was amazing. When my mom and I got there, there was live music playing. To start my mom and I ordered the burrata classica and the baguette with olive oil and balsamic vinegar. After the appetizers, I ordered the zitti pasta and my mom ordered the southwestern salad with salmon. The food was delicious and our server was so nice! The food including drinks and taxes was a total of around $154.

Belle was an excellent server. She was patient with our large party and constantly checking on us.

Wonderful lunch on outdoor patio - Belle was superb! Knew her wines and has a wonderfully warm and welcoming personality

Regarding the Soulful Brunch:
Unfortunately, I felt as if we were at a backyard BBQ while sitting in a parking lot. This wasn't what I expected for the price paid. The food was average- nothing you can't make at home, and it was served on plastic plates w/plastic utensils. We sat in hard plastic folding chairs while being musically entertained by a husband/wife duo that sounded ok. The caterers and staff were very nice/professional; however, improvements must be made in order to keep things going.

Everything was wonderful the food was delicious. Especially the service from our server Stefanie he was great. He recommended a watermelon wine we tried it out it was delicious. His customer service was great and always smiled. He is a great server and always checked up on us. He made our experience very wonderful. He deserves a raise.
