If you’re looking to try arepas, there are some great options in LA. But if you want to taste something out of this world — food that’s so good it makes no sense, with top-tier quality and generous portions — you’ve got to try The Arepa Stand. Nothing else compares. Easily one of the best meals you can have in all of LA. 100% recommended.
I had the delicious hand made cheese arepa for $13 and it was soooo yummy. The arepa was gently crispy with a generous amount of cheese. I also bought 2 hallacas with chicken, the dough was incredibly soft and full of flavors. Again very generous filling. Will definitely become a regular.
The arepa is good but very pricey. Almost $20 with tax (not including tip) for a single arepa, more than $20 if you do any of the $3 add-ons. This would be more like a rare treat for me and my family. Tasty, but the value is not there for the average family budget.
