This place sucks.
Fifteen minutes in line. Fifteen minutes to get your coffee.
I paid $8 for a large latte, only to be handed a small. When I said I asked for a large, the barista replied, “We only have one size.” Your one size is small?! For $7-8? What a ripoff!
It’s a shame, because I really like the ambiance. However, I see some empty shelves in there, which screams, “money problems.”
Won’t be back. I don’t recommend.
amazing cool fun and exciting
experience
Just pulled some shots with the Vibrant Espresso. So sweet and robust. Pretty easy to dial in.

The Boy & The Bear - Coffee Roastery is a solid coffee shop located in Culver City, offering a great selection of high-quality coffee beans. They specialize in pour-over coffee, with a friendly and knowledgeable staff that is consistently kind and attentive. Customers can enjoy unique coffee options like the Tiki Punch emerald series with notes of Salted Caramel, Lemon Rind, and Rose, as well as the Cortado made from special beans like Buena Vista, which features a balanced flavor profile with cherry notes. The ambiance is cozy, providing plenty of seating for both laptop warriors and casual customers. While the design has been noted as a bit heavy and gray, the contemporary vibes create a nice place for guests to relax or work quietly. The menu includes both sweet and savory pastry options, such as the almond croissant, which is always fresh and delicious. Though some customers found the espresso con panna to be average, others believe this might be the best coffee in the city, especially the espresso served with a small chocolate cube and sparkling water. Parking can be difficult to find, but it remains a convenient stop for a delightful coffee experience, making it worth a visit for anyone looking to unwind or grab a cup to go.
