I’ve held off writing a review as some of the staff at this location makes good drinks but I’ve realized they don’t work here anymore. The current team doesn’t care about good customer service or the quality of the drinks they serve.
The iced drinks in particular have an insane amount of ice - you end up with 4-5 sips of a medium drink.
Idk about yall but I expect my iced latte to last until mid day. it’s frustrating spending $6.50 for a less than satisfactory drink. I will be going to my local coffee shops from now on and spend $8 for a 16oz drink which comes with consistent ice to liquid ratio and flavor.
Yes I’ve asked for less ice but guess what then they leave your cup half empty. It’s hilarious

Dear Owner!!!!…. You ought to raise the tip suggestion when you pay. You currently have it at literally PENNIES!?! What is wrong with you? In this economy your employees should be making more on tips!!!! Especially now that tips are TAX FREE!!!!… raise it to at least $1 $2 $3 - as a customer that comes here, I would pay more than 0.13 cents as a tip. It’s almost criminal and SINFUL! Greedy! It’s ridiculous. It’s like you don’t care or want your employees to succeed. What do you care what they make on tips, so raise it! Don’t be that greedy business owner man. You’ll wake up one day and regret how you restricted your employees from making $1 dollar in tips and feel like a loser.

I stopped here to have a coffee. I’m really thirsty. I’m gonna give this five stars. This is an amazing place. It’s a hidden gym. You have to enter from the back if you are a wheelchair accessible but when you go inside, you’re gonna find the grocery store it’s right here in Koreatown is wonderful and everybody is wonderful. Great people.

This coffee bean is located inside California market and the grocery store on the first floor. You can access it from parking in the garage and entering the store or from the street. The barista making my drink, Matthew, was super helpful and helped me out with suggestions. He was very knowledgeable about what would be too sweet and what flavors went together. Unfortunately they were out of boba, but I was there around 4 pm so it makes sense that they ran out. He did a great job offering other drinks and I was very happy with my choice. His attitude was great and although he was busy making a lot of drinks, he was still super friendly and helpful! Would definitely come back and grab a post grocery store drink from him!

The cashier girl was unpleasant. Absolutely disgusting and inedible avocado toast (too much lemon, avocado was very hard), ended up throwing it out. The boba here is horrible. One of the worst I’ve had, it ruined the whole drink. Luckily, the server was great to me and was able to pour the boba out.

Order wrong, I ordered Doordash the Overnight Oats and Cereal (generous portion) too and got the small chia pudding, which has completely different nutritional profile. (More sugar, less fiber, protein, etc.) If your out of stock at least tell the Dasher so customer can make a change. Don't just do something to piss people off. Also the oatmilk in my latte taste like soap. I suspect they didn't use oatmilk but whole or skim.

I came out of convenience but I'll start going to the local coffee shops nearby instead, better coffee and service. One employee seemed more interested in his conversation about weed. When he took my order he got it wrong both times, I wanted an iced latte and a large black cold brew. He gave me a hot coffee and after I corrected him he gave me an iced coffee instead. Gave me a blank look when I told him that was wrong and went to the register. Thankfully the third time the other barista gave me my correct drinks.
