This is certainly a place in the center of the business district that is always worth your time and money. Beyond the nice restaurant vibe and mouth watering fusion of dishes, after having your meal, there is a nice rooftop bar to help amplify your day/evening!

Reasonably priced as far as Los Angeles in 2024 goes for cool ambience in the restaurant if the renovated Freehand hotel. Lots of great appetizers to share and delicious cocktails (mine was a concoction of mezcal and aperol that was delicious). Service was decent and polite. Recommend for a fun casual dinner with “Mediterranean” food vibes with an Americana twist.

The food was exceptional! Business was slow and quiet (we ate early). In fact, it was so slow that the hostess and server were the same person, but they were perfect - polite, competent, and genuinely warm and friendly. My boyfriend and I plan to go back to The Exchange.

Service and ambience were superior to the food. The menu is limited but varied. Certain mains are smallish, and the offerings didn't capture the imagination. A bit tired of the $25 burger and when did the standard glass of wine become $18. Overall, we were disappointed when we didn't expect or want to be. The tab was almost $300 out the door for three. Trading at that price point there are a lot of choices. Very friendly, knowledgable staff.

Great food and many small plate options, which we love for sharing. Limited wine list, interesting cocktails, nice space. Service wasn't well informed but kind and helpful. We will be back!

Everything was amazing! My husband and I shared the special made for two. Rib eye steak with veggies. Everything was delicious. It was my birthday and they were so kind and genuine. Strongly recommend!!!

I came here with my new boyfriend on one of our fist dates and we loved the mood here . The dim lighting and the lovely way the tables are set is sexy . Our server was very attentive and answered all of our questions about the menu . She was lovely. The dish I enjoyed the most was their fried rice . It was delicious . I also recommend the pineapple old fashion. The bartender here knows how to makes it delicious.

This was quite an interesting surprise inside a boutique hotel, it is Israeli/Cali based cuisine. Despite having things like kabob, it is also vegetarian friendly too though you can easily request for grilled chicken an such to be added to their salads and quinoa bowl. I loved how fresh yet well flavored everything was.

Located on the ground floor of the Exchange Hotel, this restaurant is extraordinary. The decor and ambience feel like you have been landed in 1970s Germany, with warm woods and earth tones, pottery and macrame. The Israeli inspired Mediterranean dishes are amazing and good portions. Like everything in a LA things have gotten pricier so it is on the expensive side for what you get. But don't let that put you off, come to the Exchange for a memorable culinary and ambient experience.

The restaurant is very dark so very hard to read the menu. Music was loud so hard to hear conversation. I ordered salmon which was cooked well, but the portion was very small for the price and the sauce they used was awful and didn't got either fish. I won't return, not satisfied with experience.
