The hostess are so rude, they should train to be nicer and more welcoming. They are completely dismissive to people and have that “I think I'm better than you” attitude. They also lied multiple times about not reserving a nice table. The waiters are also so snappy and just seem like they don't like their job and then expect a huge tip. The food is completely overpriced I could go literally anywhere else pay half the price for something that would taste the same. I will say the restaurant is very beautifully decorated but don't think you'll get cute pictures the lighting is SOO dark. Lol.

Our party of six thoroughly enjoyed our experience at LAVO. The food was well prepared and presented. Our server, Addison, was knowledgeable, friendly, confident, and efficient.

Fantastic experience. Great atmosphere, good food, wait staff was tentative and polite. It's a shame this place is closing at the end of the year. Would have loved to go back again.

The pizza was nice, was interesting to try other main dishes but I couldn't and sadly it will be closed so will not be able to try them in LA

Horrible service-waiter didn't come back or acknowledge us even though he kept passing our table for over 30 min. Grabbed a diff waiter to let them know situation, when our waiter, Derek, returned he just dropped the check with no apology. Glad they are closing in a couple days because I won't be back. Also, validating valet and it still cost $22 is wild. Food was decent but if everything else sucks then it sucks.

A beautiful setting and a varied menu at a variety of price points. That said, we felt completely swindled. My husband asked to see a wine list to order a glass. Instead, our server asked what kind of wine he liked, then brought him two choices. He tried them both. The waiter never told him the prices (other than “that one is $9 more”). The bill came and that glass of wine at $36 was the most expensive thing we had ordered. The complementary crudite is lovely as is the citrus service for our water. Appetizers were very good but it took way too long to get our entrees - 35 minutes - and no one came over to update us. We were happy to leave without dessert. If you drive, you must valet park which is $20. The food is not so good to justify these prices and selling a glass of wine should not be like selling a used car.

First of all, it was an anniversary celebration with my girlfriend, we're hoping for a memorable experience. The service was awkward as soon as we walked in the door. Both girls in the entrance looked at us like they'd rather be anywhere but there, the service felt forced. It was awkward af. Then, we were sat in the furthest corner of the restaurant with sunken seats that made us feel like the table was way too high. Very uncomfortable situation for a place that was so empty on a Tuesday evening. Whatever.. we thought maybe the food could redeem it all. We were sat for 20 minutes and no one approached us yet. When someone finally came to ask what water we wanted, they avoided looking us in the eye and awkwardly laughed after said she said she's really tired. Another 10 minutes went by before the water came. Then another 10 min before our server got there, which turned out to be another awkward encounter with someone who looked bothered by us being there. Before she took our order, we asked for a wine menu and she said she'd be right back with it. It took her another 8-10 minutes to come back with it. By then we were hungry and annoyed. We were so bothered by this point we got up and left. Everything about the energy in there felt off. Can't say anything about the food but the people and the vibe sucked. Feels like a place that ready to charge hella money for a wack vibe that isn't worth it. Go to Ysabel instead.

Drinks and food took a long time to come for a party of three. We went to Lavo on a Tuesday night to celebrate a birthday. When the food did come out, it was good. The inside is beautiful. Drinks were good. Service was very slow.

Came here for happy hour and were quickly seated once we arrived. The happy hour deals are killer. I only wish this place wasn't closing since we just tried it for the first time and really loved it. We absolutely loved the fritto misto, which was a mix of calamari and different fried seafood and peppers. The portion was also pretty big for a $10 appetizer. The truffle fries were also good and not oily and the pizza was decent and simple. The martini flight was very cute and yummy, a little light and sweeter than a usual martini. And I also liked the prosecco. The bar/lounge area isn't the most comfortable seating as it's all high tops very close to other people so you feel like you're dining with others but the service was amazing and the workers were very attentive. The restaurant itself was beautiful I only wish I got to sit past the bar area. I would love to go back wish they weren't closing :(

What a beautiful restaurant! Such amazing delicious food! LA is truly losing a gem 💔 ... Literally every single thing on the menu is amazing! Get here before the month is over and get the Meatball! Also, if you're up for dessert, get the Affogato (trust meee!🔥)

It's been a while since I've dined here. I had friends staying in West Hollywood and wanted a nice dining experience, one other spot I was thinking of is closed on Sundays....so glad they were. There were three of us and we like to dine family style and share everything. We started with the octopus, absolutely delicious......also enjoyed the beet salad, a gluten free penne with bolognese....they're version of bolognese a bit different than the classic....wasn't a red sauce, still amazing. Our main entree was the sea bass for two.....when it came out to the table, wow! beautiful presentation .....they deboned it at the table. Coctails and wine were lovely. Everything we had we thoroughly enjoyed. Sad to hear they will be closing this location at the end of the month! I'm going to try and go back for brunch. They still have a great Vegas location which I tried more than 10 years ago and the NYC location.....super fun spot too! Super friendly staff and fabulous food! Highly recommended! Try and get into the WeHo location before they close.

Loved our dinner at Lavo, went for an anniversary dinner and they made it so welcoming. The staff congratulated us throughout the night and even threw in a complimentary ice cream with happy anniversary on it. Service was exceptional, super friendly staff who were honest about their favorite menu items. The carbonara was excellent, real good smoke flavor from the bacon on the noodles were delicious. We got the vodka pepperoni and it was a little thin, + the sauce wasn't our favorite. Ambiance was great and would definitely come again, maybe just stick with the pasta because it was delicious!

Had dinner at LAVO in LA and this place is definitely all about the vibes. The ambiance, the music, and the desserts were the highlight. We had the garlic bread with three sauces, the salmon, the mushroom & truffle ravioli, and their famous tiramisu. Food is decent for the price, but the real standout here is the overall vibe and the dessert. If you're looking for a fun night out with great ambiance, LAVO is a solid pick.
