The Garage on Motor Ave is a laid-back neighborhood dive and sports bar with excellent prices and friendly staff. It’s a relaxed spot for fun times, karaoke, and sports, with decent food and drinks, including good beer. The bar offers mostly IPAs on draft and typical bar food, like frozen items cooked up to enjoy with drinks. There are ping pong tables for entertainment, though they wish they had darts. The bar has plenty of TVs for watching debates, races, or games, making it a favorite place to enjoy Formula 1 and other racing events, especially during the early morning 6am races with coffee and beer on tap. Service is generally good but can be a little slow when busy, and parking can be tricky, though free street parking is available. Trivia night on Wednesdays at 8:30 pm is very popular. Overall, it’s a comfortable local hangout with a non-pretentious atmosphere that offers a fun and lively environment for sports fans and neighborhood locals alike.
