I want to love this place so badly, but the food just keeps disappointing me. I was really craving a good sandwich at lunch time and love the vibes there on a sunny day, so I gave it another chance and got the turkey (basically a BLT w/ turkey). It was so unfortunately dry and unexciting. If you have that type of (french? Sourdough?) bread- the mayo has to be detectable. The red onion wasn’t even sliced in normal sandwich slices, it was like - large pieces. And the amount of turkey on there is like a caveman portion. I had to ask for some more mayo to get some flavor going. It was sadly just so not satisfying.
How it could improve: Better bacon (maybe it needs a new rub, to be a little crisper, maybe a maple bacon- just something with more flavor), better bread- maybe something great from a good bakery, herb mayo is just ok, maybe sundried tom spread? Better cheese, it’s just melted cheddar I think. Doesn't add a bright or interesting flavor (in my opinion). Thinner pieces of red onion and tomato.
I feel like a turkey sandwich is so simple, yet hard to find a good one. I personally LOVE Larchmont wine and cheese turkey sandwiches the most, best in LA (to me!).
Again it’s a shame to write because I LOVE the atmosphere, the staff is actually KIND and friendly and welcoming. They all smile and greet you and seem to enjoy their jobs. The people there love to hang out and work on laptops. It’s just a fun vibe.
Hoping for a little kitchen refresh or mix up so I can become a regular!

Not the best customer service, products seem of quality but the employees displayed passive aggressiveness towards family.

Ordered a Bahn Mi sandwich a fried chicken sandwich and some fries. Whoever took our order told us to wait outside. After about 2 minutes a service worker came out and notified us that they completely forgot about the fried chicken sandwich. We said that's okay. Then they finally brought out our order we had to leave so we took it to go. 5 minutes later we are home eating a pretty sad meal...
The bahn mi sandwich was a soggy mess, the fries were cold and soggy and the chicken sandwich was a sad dry mess. Overall a pretty poor experience.

Great food, great coffee and atmosphere. However... Some of the most sour servers I've ever encountered in LA. Management must treat their staff really badly for them to look like that. The guy behind the counter needed a hug and probably a raise.

REALLY GOOD BREAKFAST SANDWHICH. The breakfast burrito was good too but egg was a too runny for a burrrito IMO. The knockdown in rating is due to mid service (slow and it didn’t really seem like they had a lot of food orders ), and the outside is full of flies. Likely due to the trash cans not having proper lids .

Great market to find specialty pantry items. I always find something cool that I’ve never seen before. Glad they are a staple in my hood. Also a great place to take coffee dates.
Love this place! Excellent pizzas and great wine selection. Great local hangout.
Best neighborhood cafe in Franklin Village! Great food & location. I always see celebrities when I’m here.
They ruined the quality. Burnt pizza, the price has almost doubled.

Love this spot! Best part is the service. The person who took our order, Reilly, was very welcoming and helped us with our order even though we had some special requests. Food was great too. We will definitely be back!

I came here after hearing so much about their infamous grilled cheese. I don’t know if it was an off day or what but the cheese in the sandwich hadn’t even melted down despite there being such thick layers of cheese & the bread had a stale taste. I felt sick after a couple bites so I was definitely a little disappointed. That said, the staff was really nice & I liked the vibe of the store part itself.

Wine selection is interesting. Market is pricy, but cool stuff is offered.
Sandwiches are a not for me, bread wasn’t fresh and the fries were not crispy. Pastries look better than they taste.
Will not be coming back…

These guys literally charge for tap water even if you buy one of their overpriced coffees.
