The food at Proud Bird is actually very good, which makes this even more disappointing. Unfortunately, the customer service really took away from the experience.
The staff member serving the food forgot to give me half of my order. When I went back to ask about the missing items, instead of apologizing and fixing the mistake, I was met with excuses. Everyone makes mistakes, but how they’re handled is what matters.
Great food, but the service needs a lot of improvement. I hope management focuses more on customer service because the food deserves better.

Found this place by accident while looking for a place to eat due a delayed flight. Great place to stop if you need to kill time before a flight (especially if you have kids). Only a mile from the car rental return and plenty of parking. They have an arcade, plenty of screen for sport, and a great outdoor area with a playscape and display aircraft and a mini flight museum inside. The outdoor area was big enough for a youth soccer team to have a mini game of soccer without interfering with other patrons. The food was good, it's a fun atmosphere and the prices are on par for everything else in the area. It also has great viewing of airplanes coming in for landing at LAX (the runway is literally across the street from this place).

The Proud Bird is a fun and unique stop near LAX, especially if you enjoy aviation. The renovated space feels like a modern food hall with a great variety of options, including barbecue, pizza, salads, burgers, and a full bar, so there’s something for everyone. The service was excellent, and while the food quality is comparable to a typical food court, the atmosphere is what really sets this place apart. With a video arcade, numerous historic warbird aircraft on display, and indoor and outdoor seating just steps from the airport’s arrival paths, it’s a fantastic spot for plane watching and a casual meal.

Good food but service was a little slow. Great atmosphere for families.
This is an unique place with so much history about aerodynamics and the Tuskegee man who flew war planes in world war 2. It’s a great place for family.
You can see planes about to land on LAX.

Went with my crew to this location since we had a layover. It was a quick train ride from El Segundo area. Ambiance is cute and VERY aviation. Place is organized and clean. Signage could be a littler better. Was standing around and had to figure out where to pickup our food, but then realized the ginormous sign at the bottom of the “pickup” counter. Prices are as expected for LA. Perhaps I didn’t order the correct items but I wasn’t very impressed. Ordered the “Freckles” non-alcoholic drink. VERY minty. Not a fan personally but I finished it since I bought it. They only had bottled beer since they didn’t have CO2 for the tap. Tried to order a cab but they only had Chardonnay and some other wine. No biggie. The spicy tangerine wings looked lovely in the photo so I ordered that and a poke bowl. Unfortunately, the wings were not spicy not tangerine in flavor. Just a sweet glaze. Back in Vegas, poke bowls are “bowls” because the poke is served with rice. To our disappointment, it was a few pieces of poke with a HUGE bed of arugula blend and the TINIEST dressing container. If you do go, sit outside if you can. The ambiance of the sunset with the bonfire pit and paired with the loud but lovely planes landing in LAX was probably the best part of the whole experience.

If you're a plane nerd this is it, food is good service could be better, but there's planes , as it's right at the end/start of LAX runway there is always planes to spot

I went for a banquet and the food was not good. The servers had bad attitudes but the atmosphere was not bad.
As an avgeek plane spotter it’s great. The food is ok. The atmosphere is most like a kids playground with a bar. That being said, the bar is nice. The staff is good.

I miss back when this place was a full restaurant, but I'm glad that this place is still here despite being just a food hall. I suppose it's actually better that it's a food hall, because you can hang around, watch the planes land, and buy food and drinks throughout the day without having to worry about being a burden on the restaurant.

Terrible place. They have no menu. Very loud crazy and chaos Would never go there again. Food ok and very expensive. Confusing place to order food. You need a smart phone with little dots in. The staff could not help me out if over the age of 65 avoid this place. Confusing where to get the food.

Great place to hang out waiting to pick someone up at LAX. There were many families here on a Sunday enjoying the outdoor play area.
