Just had an amazing 40th birthday celebration here and can't recommend it highly enough. We priced out a ton of venues, particularly in Los Feliz/Silver Lake where we live, and Spare Room was hands down the best option and worth the 'schlep' from our side of town. Coolest bar in the area. Big speakeasy vibes with low light, wood tones throughout. Bar is smaller with about 5 stools but there is wait staff that attends to the tables. Most of all there's the bowling alley, a draw on its own. 100% worth even just a drink at.
