Decent sized coffee shop with a couple of indoor and outdoor seating options. The outside is pet friendly. There is free wifi but it can be slow. I would not rely on it to get a lot of computer with done. However if you can work offline or have a hot spot it can be a very nice place to get work done. No plugs available.
The coffee is good and strong. I enjoy the Mexican hot chocolate and mocha Mexicano. It is usually good but today tasted a little burnt.
Parking: Street parking available only. It can be a hit or a miss

Tierra Mía Coffee is absolutely fantastic! From the moment you step in, you’re greeted with a warm, inviting atmosphere that makes it the perfect spot to relax or catch up with friends. Their coffee is consistently top-notch, with rich, bold flavors that showcase their commitment to quality. Whether you’re in the mood for a smooth espresso, a perfectly brewed pour-over, or one of their signature lattes, every drink is crafted with care and precision. The cozy yet vibrant ambiance adds to the experience, making it a go-to place for both coffee lovers and those looking for a welcoming spot to unwind. Highly recommend—five stars all the way!

I drink a lot of coffee when I travel. I find it the respite I need between talking to customers. Coffee here is awesome. Period end of sentence. I would like for them to have a branch by my home.

This is my hometown. I’m a highland park native and it saddens me to see the way the customer service is now at Tierra Mia. This was our spot and still is but now it absolutely is insane as you will wait more than 20 minutes for a cup of coffee. Half the time the staff is not as friendly as a few years back. Every single morning I would look forward to getting my cup of coffee. I was a barista for 2 years and i do understand the line the process but 22 minutes for a cup of coffee when I see 3 staff just standing. Tierra Mia is now a place we think before going

I’ve gone to this location since it first opened. It’s always been my favorite. However, this year I feel the quality of the coffee, service, and cleanliness has gone down. The past couple of times that I’ve been here, I see flies in the bakery cabinet. When a previous customer pointed it out, the cashier simply shooed it away rather than taking out the bread since it had landed on several muffins. The last couple times I’ve ordered my coffee, the quality & taste has been way off. Today was the final straw. As I was finishing my frappe, I noticed something chewy & I thought it was the coffee grounds, then I thought it was a piece of plastic. To my horror, I was chewing on a FLY. I will not be returning to this location. So grossed out. So disappointed.

The exterior of the bakery is classic, interior is small, they have small tables inside and outside. Staffs are very accommodating, food is not that superb as I expected. There is a small patking shared with other stores in the area.

I paid $3.95 for a "medium, daily brewed coffee" this afternoon, it was just terrible, sour as if it has beed brewed in the morning and was still in the pot ever since. Had to throw it down the drain cause it was undrinkable.

Love this place, I go here all the time to work and study, and it's especially nice that they're open late compared to most local shops. The only foods they have are pastries and basic chocolates (m&ms, snickers, etc.), but it makes sense since it's such a small place.
They have indoor and outdoor seating, though the seating arrangement indoors could be feng shui'd better. They recently removed a small table, which made sense for more space, but sucks for less seating.
All-around great vibes and the people who work there are incredibly nice and seem fun, though you do feel a general pressure to leave if there's a rush. Otherwise, I love it and will always come back.

Several times I have gone and I always order decaffeinated coffee because fully caffeinated does upset my stomach. On more than one occasion I was not given decaffeinated and today, well…I can’t continue to go back and risk the stomach issues. So if you need decaffeinated just be warned.
I loved it
