What a gem! This place is the best!!! I was craving a ham & cheese croissant and they made it for me no problem and omg it is the best I’ve had in LA. The owner Josette is from France and is always in making sure the quality is perfect and her customers are happy. This is a true neighborhood spot that deserves all the support.

Good brunch spot that has hearty portions and comfort food favorites. The atmosphere is casual and lively, especially on weekends. Warm service, but waits are common. The portions are OK in size and the price is OK for what you get, the food was served on time and fresh. I’d come back when I’m in the area.

First, servers were kind, sweet and hospitable.

The chef, however was terrible.
My partner and I got our food around 45-50 minutes after ordering. We sat in front of the chef’s window. We saw her cooking food for a couple that arrived about 20 minutes after us. My partner ordered an avocado toast. The bread was cold, the presentation was horrible, the greens looked welted - I mean it was bad. The french toast was soggy and undercooked. The chef didn’t come out to apologize either. The servers were doing their best though.
Lady, this is not how you treat your employees or your customers.

Amazing food and service. The owner was super friendly and hospitable. An example to be set for all restaurant owners. We'll definitely come back.

Weird vibe, strange decor, and bland food. The folks working there were nice but not much else could be said about the place.

Unfortunately, everything changed with the change of ownership. The menu options are no longer good, and the food quality is not the same anymore. It used to be my favorite place for breakfast or brunch, but now I won’t be coming back. The prices are extremely high—unreasonably so. Goodbye to many beautiful memories here.

Used to be the best breakfast/brunch spot. Has gone completely downhill. Ordered an omelet which should have come with a side of potatoes but they said they ran out of potatoes. Do not eat here

If you want authentic French bakeries or place, you have to go to Normandie Bakery ! The staff and the chef are really nice. The baguette is so good it feels like you’re actually in France.

This place is so old dilapidated and so disgusting I wanted to check each server for FOOD HANDLING CARD. Fm dairy to eggs to unbaked stale bread, cardboard, no scoop of butter melting sizzling dripping on top, to choices of blueberries fresh, strawberries fresh cream whipped from scratch, to maple to so many different syrups. $25+ this is piece of xxxx with undocumented uncertified Food Handlers just DISGUSTING. Not even a payors order, sick menu not even MATCHA just disgusting 25+ if you dont tip thug feel. Sick. Check their finger nails. No sanitizer pump anywhere. No place to wash their hands. SICK

This was my absolute favorite brunch place for many, many years. As the many reviews can attest, it was great food and value.

Unfortunately, sometime in 2024, Chef Josette Leblond purchased this somewhat iconic LA eatery and ruined it. Half the menu is gone, prices are at least 50-60% more than they were, quality is non-existent and the long-time servers were replaced with busboys with iPads.

What was once a consistently packed brunch spot is now basically a ghost town all day long. Really sad and shame on her for ruining this place.

Attaching a photo of my $22 "gourmet breakfast."
