Tonkotsu broth hits just the right spot. So good. Super fast at service and the food was perfect hot temperature

The service was great, one person working the front hall, doing everything, but she was awesome. The vibe is more of quick-service ramen shop, as the food came out super fast, don't get me wrong, I appreciate that. The mixed tempura was decent, the beer was bit flat, the ramen was good. I got the spicy sauce on the side, would recommend that as well. I also appreciated that the location closed late (10pm I think).

The food is delicious and the customer service is super great. I came for lunch the day before and had me coming back again today I had the teriyaki chicken bowl. It was excellent. The hot sake is really good.

Service was great. Food WAS great until I found hair in my ramen. Was my first and last time here.

Got the Kyushu Tonkotsu Ramen, mixed tempura and beer for late dinner. The place wasn't busy and everything came out quickly. Unfortunately, the beer was bit flat, the mixed tempura was ok.... had that fast food/quick-service vibe.Ramen was good, I did get the spice on the side... the broth unfortunately was salty to my taste. I would recommend you get the spice on the side, try it w/o it first and then add it later like I did.

This was hands down one of the best broths I have ever had with Raman. If I am in the area again. I would go back in a heart beat.

Decent ramen but not my favorite. I ordered the extra spicy and it was not spicy at all! The lady even had a slight warning so I expected some heat but the spice flavor was bland. The appetizers were pretty good, sushi was mid grade. Silverlake ramen still tops the charts for me in downtown.

The Tokyo shoyu ramen was so good. The service was very nice and he asked about allergies, I was waiting on a friend and he made sure I got water.

Great ramen spot with excellent service. High quality food ingredients. Definitely returning next time I am in LA.

It's a newish restaurant, but the inside is kinda dark and un inviting. Feels like they just took over whatever was here before with the previous business. The ramen was average. I had the Tokyo Shoyo ramen. A bit weirdly sweet for me. And there's pork fat floating in the broth. It's probably from cooking but it makes it unappetizing. The Tonkotsu ramen is a bit better. It's lighter than a lot of other places. For any ramen, you can choose the spice level. Overall, the ambiance feels like a "hole in the wall" place, but the price is not. Ramen is $17-19. Karaage is $10. And the food is just ok. I probably won't come back for the ramen.

Loved this place. Just recently returned from Tokyo, and the sushi reminded me of my time there. Highly recommend.

Space was relatively spacious and not too crowded for a Friday night. I got the mild tonkotsu ramen (with extra ramen) - perfect for a cold day - and a very nostalgic bottle of ramune (the kind that has a marble in it). The photo I took doesn’t do the meal justice -- but it smelled so good I had to dig in.The hostess/waitress was very attentive and checked in on how my meal was going which was nice - I definitely felt welcomed the entire meal. Would recommend if you’re in the DTLA area!Kid-friendliness: Good for families dining with children.

I got a 10 pcs Philadelphia Roll and 5 pcs of veggie gyoza. Absolutely incredible! I’ll definitely be back. Service was quick and the staff were amazingly kind. A hidden gem for sure!

What a great environment to experience with a loved one. Words cannot explain the peace and serenity I felt when me and my lady found our seats here at Totoyama Ramen. We ordered some Sapporos and some Edamame as we waited for our food to arrive. The vibe was very inviting and we were able to have a lovely conversation. The Ramen was very colorful and delicious thank you guys for such a pleasant experience.
