Tu Madre in Brentwood was filled with welcoming vibes and beautiful atmosphere that reflected the same way towards the warm and well seasoned food! To start your meal their chips & guac were fresh made and full of flavor but My absolute favorite was the Protein bowl, it had literally everything you could want and tasted 10/10! I also for sure recommend their Cancun Refresher, sooooo good on a hot summer day 🥵♥️ 100% will be back with friends

Tu Madre in Brentwood is a Cali-Mex spot with welcoming vibes and a beautiful atmosphere. The warm and well seasoned food matches the friendly service. The menu has something for everyone, whether vegan, a meat lover, all about salads, or just there for tacos and burritos. The chips & guac are fresh made and full of flavor, and the crispy kale at the bottom is a total new thing for Mexican food. The meat quality is always really high. Popular picks include the Protein bowl, the Cancun Refresher, the tacos, burrito, salad, rice bowl, the ahi tuna tartare, which is unbelievably fresh, and the tamarind shrimp, which is sweet, tangy, and perfectly cooked. The Truffle Guacamole is great and unique, the Carne Asada Bowl is a usual order, and the Red Velvet Churros are extremely sweet and best to share. The jackfruit taco is also a favorite. The carne asada burrito is super solid, wrapped well, with really good flavor, fresh, and filling without being overly heavy. The white-ish sauce is bomb. Service is friendly with good energy. The place is clean with a nice casual vibe. Inside is not very large, and all the seating is outdoor, with a small covered seating area toward the back that also has a fire heater for those cold days. Parking can be a bit trickier, but a free street spot a block away is possible. A good lunch or dinner spot.
