Firstly I'm not an expert on Thai food so this review is just my personal opinion. I really liked the food. Every dish I had was great. The place is a little loud and the clients skew young so probably a fun place for a date. Service was very good and prices were decent. I will eat from here again for sure but will probably take it to go or have it delivered.

My wife and I have been coming to Sawtelle to eat since we've started school at UCLA. This is definitely one of our favorite spots. I wish I can reference reviews because someone said that the Hainanese Fried Chicken Rice is life changing and it really is. The rice is aromatic/fluffy and the chicken is crispy and juicy. Highly recommend it! Pad Thai is always my go-to and Thai one doesn't disappoint. I highly suggest any of the street noodles! My wife really enjoyed her Pad Kee Mao as well. Lastly, we always have to get the papaya salad. It is so fresh and citrusy! One thing to note is that it does get fairly busy but the service is not bad and it's pretty chill inside. There is also plenty of street parking

Honestly I had terrible experience. You can see on the picture what I ordered and what I have gotten. Soup tasted as vegetables wasn’t cooked at all and just put in the coconut milk with no curry. You probably can see it by its color. Fried rice was also terrible there was 4 pieces of pineapple very little of rice and huge uncooked onions with not tasty tofuPlus they put 0 sauces in the bag

Omg, whatever you do get the roti for dessert, it's flaky but moist and so delicious but you should definitely like sweet. The service was lovely and though the atmosphere is nothing fancy it has its own fun vibe going on. Just don't expect fancy it's more casual vibes. They had a fun selection of wines, I got a Spanish orange wine that I though was quite tasty. Dinner BBQ pork collar: tasty but my least favorite thing ordered mostly because there needed to be more of it or just some type of side to go along with it. Chicken Satay: holy crap the peanut sauce is soooo good! I just started putting the peanut sauce on everything. The chicken itself was pretty delectable as well and nicely cooked. Pad kee mao: loved it went for spicy, almost went for Thai spicy a next step up but my server warned that it was strong and I think he was wise to warn me. That being said the spicy was great, very spicy but I prefer it that way. I would totally come back, good service, good food and good drinks. Also there is a burger that is calling to me for next time

Amazing Thai food. Would definitely come back for more. Loved the satay and lettuce wraps.

Great food, great service, great prices. Best pad Tai in town. Real coke in a bottle, crushed ice. Highly recommended.

Wonderful customer service, consistent + delicious food, and shareable food portions here! Outdoor seating offers space heaters, sun shades, and dogs are allowed on the patio. No designated parking lot, but there is easy street parking.

Tuk Tuk Thai is the best in Los Angeles. If you've never had the chicken larb you've got to order it. It's so tasty and great with white rice. It's way better than lettuce wraps and you can control the spice level. Also, spring rolls are made from scratch every day! Must have. 5 star service, food and ambiance. The mural is so cool and makes me want to get back to Thailand!

Not so great but passable if desperate! The eggplant is great and the salted fish fried rice

Came here on a Tuesday night and the inside seating area was half-full, with a happy vibe. Lots of takeout orders and folks were chatting as they waited to pick up their food. Two servers were keeping busy without being stressed out. Super-solid pad Thai and pad zee ew, and a very tasty Thai iced tea that didn't taste fake or cloyingly sweet. Got a mango and sticky rice to go, and holy god it was ridiculously good. All the food above, plus an appetizer and a beer was $70. No complaints at all. (For the IAQ nerds: Aranet4 showed the CO2 between 580-650, which is amazing!)

Walked here from our hotel in LA and loved it. Fun ambiance, great drink selections, and our food was delicious. The place was very busy (on a Tuesday night!) and they were handling a lot of takeout orders, but the small staff kept up with everyone. Will definitely come back!

Came back with more friends and also tried: BBQ pork collar - the meat was so tender and succulent and the dipping sauce was bomb Pad Kaprow - pork with basil on fluffy white rice, a good portion and perfectly seasoned in a nice sauce that mixed well with the rice Tom Yum seafood - medium was a good hit of spice and the flavor was once again on point! Full of seafood goodness Wontons in curry sauce - good in a basic curry sauce but not as memorable This place is still a winner and was packed on a Friday night at 7:30p! Make a reservation.
