If I could give Tuk Tuk Thai on Sawtelle in W. L.A. six stars, I would. They serve, hands down, the best Thai food I have tasted outside of Thailand. Tuk Tuk Thai on Sawtelle totally hit the spot. The Pad Gra Pow was amazing, super flavorful with just the right amount of heat, and the fried egg on top made it even better. It’s one of those dishes that’s simple but just so satisfying. I also had the tam tang pla ra (cucumber salad with fermented fish), it had that real Isaan kick that’s perfect for summer.
