The burgers are banger, but kinda pricey for the amount of food you’re getting.

I would give this place 3.5 stars! First off, the oysters were OK not too fishy and didn't taste old. The sauce it comes with was the highlight (had some Thai influence to them which made it unique.) the cherrystone clams tasted like nothing but also very fishy at the same time? Would not recommend those. The Rockefeller oysters were also very fishy but probably because cooked oysters tend to be a bit fishier. We then got the saltfish beignets and those were pretty good! The only thing I'd say is it's a mushy filling and pretty salty. Then we got the fried chicken sando which I really enjoyed! It was unique but I was expecting it to be spicy since it said Thai chilies in the ingredients. The bread they use is sooo good. I could just eat the bread. The fried chicken is seasoned very well - my only complaint is that I wish the breading was crispier on the chicken but the bread was slight crispy which made up for it in my opinion! Then for our finale we got a branzino and it was great! It was a very good size and the sauce it comes with is extremely unique. It's right next to tuk tuk Thai and the place definitely has this pop up feel to it. The ambiance was very cute since the interior is pink and feels intimate since seating is limited. The service was so great! Our server was extremely friendly and a bright person :) we came at 5pm on a Saturday and there was only 1 other party -- no waiting. just a note-- they don't have the fried chicken menu anymore - that ended in November. And happy hour is until 6pm not 5pm like it says on their website!

Love this place. I always stopped by to see what they have and never disappointed. Friendly staff and delicious food in a nice neighborhood.

This place is SO good. The service was amazing, kind, and generous. We got the fish beignets, fried chicken sando (so yummy!), Wagyu, beef bavette, oysters, and olives. The bavette's sauce was especially good. Menza was welcoming from the beginning and very personable. Already told my friends about this place and plan to come again!

We had the most amazing experience at Tuktuk turntable x plage! Wonderful chef Amanda Maneesilasan and wonderful presenter Manza made it such a wonderful experience full of heart and most delicious food! I am not big on scallops or beignet, but both were so stellar that I can't wait to come back! Organic wine selection was another wonderful surprise, all organic and very delicate. Highly recommend visiting this place. From fried calamari to prawn skewers. Every bite is delicious and made with so sooo much heart that you instantly want to come back! Bravo!

The new collab at this pop up is "PLAGE"...the seafood is so fresh and flavorful with high quality ingredients and there's a happy hour menu! My fave was the fish and chips! The fried fish was genuinely so enjoyable. The portion was definitely big enough for two people, but I was greedy today! The batter is crisp and flavorful and the tartar sauce was bright and lemony! The pickled vegetables were light and a great balance to the fried items. The ambience is cute and trendy and the staff are friendly and helpful! Excited to try more of the menu!

So freaking good! Finally, a raw bar on the westside! $1.50 oyster, $5 fried oyster and $8 fried calamari is a must!

The food itself is okay but I cannot in good conscience rate this any higher given that 3 pieces of fried chicken is like $20. The food is good but the price and the street food vibe are not matching up at all.

Been wanting to try peking house for awhile now and I finally got a chance recently. Came here on Friday noon time, there was some empty meters near by. There was no line or customers, ordering was easy and the staff was nice. I ended up ordering 6 piece chili fried chicken, 1 green garlic rance, and 1 cheddar corn bread with apple honey. The fried chicken came out steaming hot and drench in chili oil. The chicken was crunchy and juicy. The chili wasn't spicy, more for flavor and after a few bites you can feel the Szechuan numbing on the tongue. I dip the chicken in the green garlic ranch, had a refreshing taste. The cheddar corn bread was bomb and a must order! the apple honey gives it a sweetness. overall the fried chicken was pretty good, it is kind of expensive, but what isn't expensive now a days. If you are near by, I recommend coming here and giving it a try for yourself, much cheaper trying it here than flying to new york. Also there are 4 tables outside for you to sit.

Tuk Tuk x Turntable is pop-up that is currently hosting Peking House from Brooklyn, NY. They have pick-up menu on Tock: exploretock.com/tuk-tuk-…. I can't wait to try the next menu, as Peking House is ending its time at Tuk Tuk x Turntable on 10/22/23.For the food: The chili fried chicken is juicy, flavorful and full of spices! The chili chicken sandwich is a great answer to the Nashville Hot Fried Chicken Sandwich boom happening in LA. The green garlic ranch is a MUST ORDER. This one sauce makes the whole order worth it. Add it to the chicken and the sandwich. I could live without any of the sides - they are needed to pair with the spicy chicken, but none of them were particularly memorable.

I need to stop buying into hyped up places because Turntable was about as mediocre as you can get. For $20 for 3 pieces of chicken, I excepted my mind to be blown. I was so excited after hearing that people waited in line for hours in NYC. Nothing is more disappointing than taking that first bite and immediately knowing the food you paid good money for is mid. I will say their sides are slightly better, but not at all for the price point. $8 for dirty rice and corn bread is criminal for the portions given. I agree with another user recommending bb.q chicken down the street instead. After such a disatisfying fried chicken meal at Turntable, I had to get bb.q the next week for balance.

Finally got to check out NY cult-favorite @pecking_house at the @tuktuk_x_turntable pop-up at @eattuktuk on Sawtelle Blvd in West LA. For a city that's so well known for fried chicken, I was SO impressed with their chili fried chicken, which is fried to perfection in duck fat and coated in their secret spicy sauce. I really liked the 3 piece chili chicken bucket, which had the HUGEST pieces of chicken, as well as the chili chicken sandwich, which contains fried white meat that pairs perfectly with the buttery flavors of the milk sandwich bread. I wasn't the biggest fan of the side dishes that I tried (dirty fried rice and butter bean salad), and found them bland (and this is coming from a low sodium girly lol) and not worth the extra $13 for the chili chicken meal. If you're in the area, definitely make sure to check them out and show them some well-deserved love!

Delicious sandwich with an amazing combination of juicy chicken with kewpie mayo sauce and szechuan chili pepper. The milk bread of the sandwich is also super pillowy and flavored with the sauce of the chicken. Absolutely come visit this popup before it closes! They have some limited outdoor and indoor seating spots, and the food is prepared really quickly.

I randomly saw this pop up come up in my feed and seeing that this came from NY, got me really curious & was excited to try! I came on Thursday at 3 pm & pick up was very easy. There were quite a few spots on the street with parking meters. I placed an order online & I saw that there is always a lot of availability to place your order. They also take walk-in orders which should be no problem as it was not super busy. They told me it would take 5 min to finish my order so I think they prep everything fresh when you check-in to pick up so that the chicken is still crispy. I sat outside in the patio to enjoy the food. There is also some chairs against the window if you want to sit inside. Let me tell you I don't regret coming out my way for this! I got the $30 meal, pretty pricey imo. The sichuan hot chili chicken was SO GOOD. The outer skin was crispy & the chicken inside was so juicy. The bean salad was very refreshing, I just wish the beans were a little softer but the mushrooms in it were delicious. The dirty rice was comforting & pretty flavorful. I also bought the green garlic ranch which complimented the chicken well. I definitely would recommend to try. The sichuan spice was the perfect amount.
