Ululani HSI is a popular Hawaiian shave ice chain located in Los Feliz. It is established in 2024 and the first franchise on the US mainland. I know there are plethora of crushed ice in LA, but this one is the finest crushed, powder-light shaved ice ever created. There are over 40 syrup flavors to choose from, with our favorites being the housemade tropical fruit options like mango, passion fruit, calamansi, and lychee. Moreover, they offer toppings (e.g., mocha) to add on you dessert.
This store location is small and has outdoor seats only. Staff (Mathew) is affable, competent and professional. He is craft is like an art. I had a small cup of Calamansi and Mango with mocha toppings. It was bloody nice and perfect for a warm LA weather. Prices were economically fair. Service was top notch! I am not kidding.
Finding a spot to park was a breeze b/c of abundant free street parking. Collectively, this is a good dessert shop perfect for the entire family. Overall, I had a fantastic experience and enjoyed their flavored shave ice. I recommend it.

About 4 hours ago today me and my mom walked in to get some frozen ice. There was no other customers there. We stood at the register waiting to make an order. The girl made a cup then two then started on a third one. After 5 minutes I started to think maybe we were invisible or she was spaced out in her thoughts and we just walked out.

No Glaze, the best shaved ice I’ve ever had. Very soft and the ice does not loose flavor! So yummy and delicious. Highly recommended!!!!

The same shop as the one on Maui in Hawaii :) super delicious.. we ate ice cream there every day.. the syrups taste great and intense.. Quantitatively the best shaved ice shop in LA!

One of Hawaii's great treasures just came to Los Feliz! If you don't know, now you know. Ululani's shaved ice is delicious and crave worthy. Shaved ice is like eating sweet, silky snow with various natural fruit flavors poured on top. No, it's not a snow cone, it's so much more and worthy of a visit as soon as possible. I discovered shaved ice on a Hawaiian vacation and I'm thrilled that whenever I'm in LA, I can enjoy this refreshing treat. Now you can too, so make sure you stop by. But beware, it can become an addiction. Yum!
P.S. one suggestion, I wish they'd extend their hours a bit for that after dinner sweet treat run.
